My first and last time there. I ordered the supposed lump crab meat fried rice. All I got was slivers of crab meat and very little of that. $$$ wasted ????.
With my suggestion to prevent “jail fever,” 2 K’s (wife & daughter) took us all out to dine today, going to a Thai restaurant in Waldorf which we had avoided for the past 10 years, following a previous visit. I had hoped they had time to improve. While the interior and exterior had been remodeled, the food was still mediocre. Papaya salad was mostly bean sprouts, all beef in dishes was tough and chewy, drunken noodles was far too sweet. No where near as good as Thai restaurant in La Plata. BUT you don’t know until you try. It will be at least another 10 years before I try again, though I may not be around by then.
I've waited too long to write this review. This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Waldorf. I've had the seafood curry and the fried rice probably over 20 times. I'm still sampling the menu one by one, but so far everything is super good! I also like salmon rolls and the Sea Breeze. My mom is born and raised from Thailand so that says a lot about my standards!! Highly recommend!!!! This is my comfort food spot
Food was nasty roach came and tap danced across my foot...
Fantastic place to get something when in a rush. The customer service is speedy, rates are reasonable, good mood. Keep up the good work
We found a piece of plastic in my son food ( chicken fried rice) pls be careful!!!
We have eaten at this place a few times over the past few years and always enjoyed the food. That changed last night. We ordered angel shrimp, pad thai, chicken pineapple fried rice, chicken prik pow, and panang curry. Everything was terrible. The angel shrimp was oddly grainy and tasted a bit off. The pineapple fried rice lacked seasoning (no curry at all) and was light on the pineapple and chicken, also had an odd flavor. The prik pow tasted like straight fish sauce (pretty much inedible). The panang curry was too sweet to eat. The worst thing is I ended up with 'thaiarrhea'. Not a pleasant way to spend the past few hours of my life. My son was luckier than me -- his stomach rejected the food last night. This place is off our list. Maybe it will be better for you.
I call this marvelous restaurant from time to time since I love the ambiance that is part of this place. The personel is exceptionally friendly and experienced. The service is remarkablywonderfully rapid. Needless to say, the food they prepare is exceptionaly good. I ate there often and I was always joyful. The payment is honest. I suggest this restaurant to to everybody.
At the first moment you enter this place team give you a great feeling. Very hospitable waiters, it is a lovely restaurant to hang out with friends and colleagues or with your date. yummy meals, experienced chef, honest cost and nice service. Warmly recommended.
Always my favorite place ♥️
Terrible customer service. Gave us one wrong entree out of an $80 order, I had to return to the restaurant holding the wrong order and the order receipt that did not match and he was rude and asked what was wrong with it!? He provided the correct entree and said "just take it". Go to Thai Palace, we were silly to try something else.
We got the thai basil fried rice with chicken, drunken noodles with chicken and two thai teas to go. Everything was delicious as usual. This is our favorite thai spot.
The place offers a great range of delicious food. I love eating here. Staff members are always very welcoming, rates are fair and the place is always well organised.
Loved it food was fantastic
I ordered the Thai pad noodles. Food did not look appetizing nor did it taste appetizing. Waste of money.
