We were a little leery of trying this place due to some of the reviews. But were willing to give them a try because we wanted a Mexican restaurant closer by. We are glad we did because their food is delicious. The people who complained about their guacamole clearly don't know what they are talking about. It's is made different, creamy instead of raw like most restaurants and it pretty good. We have family from Texas in town and even they thought Los Tapatios' food was yummy!
the venue is comfortable and uplifting. the food was great. this is tex-mex/southwestern food done right. it seems a bit expensive until the meals arrive as the servings are generous. the server was friendly and patient with slightly "picky" preferences and the cook/chef & bartender was very accommodating and responsive with our party. we had a great time.
I've always loved this place. A favorite of a good friend and mine, but this last time I ordered and had my food delivered. It was not the quality that I remembered. Fish tacos weren't cooked right and we're barely filled. Refried beans were salty. Very much a disappointment.
