Reviews for Chebeague Island Inn

This was our 6th time visiting chebeague island inn and unfortunately the experience was very different from our previous stays. Firstly, no one was at the dock to give us a ride to the inn even though I called and they said someone would be there. So, we had to walk up the hill with our luggage. Furthermore, the staff were all in a bad mood (exception to this was the bartender abd one waiter from South Africa..both were awesome and friendly) everyone else brought down the full review
Beach cruiser bicycles avalible to explore the island. Historic inn with a pause button. The lack of television, phones and alarm clocks add to the feeling of exhalation when you spend time here...Sunsets on the porch a must. Find a seat early, read a book or reconnect and enjoy a cheese board and a glass of wine. "Not a lot to do which is nice if you have a lot to do" is a conversation we had with another seasoned Chebeague island couple. Visit for the day or the week. Golf, full review
Mixed feelings on this one. I stayed there for my brother’s wedding, which took place at the inn in mid-October. The public spaces of the inn have a lodge-like feel. That means that the inn can somewhat dictate room prices as they basically have a monopoly. The rooms were very simple for the price. (And there weren’t enough rooms for full review
