“My best friend and I went to Earth for dinner last Saturday. I hadn’t been there for over a year. It was such a surprise, incredible, unexpected experience, way above our expectations.From a culinary perspective, the menu is super well balanced with dishes that are comforting and innovating. The kitchen executes it to perfection, using outstanding produce and cooking it all in a way that showcases each element on your plate, yet never managing to hide one from the other. One thing I loved was the fact that all protein was well seasoned and perfectly cooked, never needing any sauces to mask its own flavour. We had duck, fish, venison, roasts carrots, ravioli, the tuna sashimi, the scallops and the soup of the day.Portions are perfectly sized. In my opinion, outstanding value for money.The wine list is excellent. Diverse, affordable and complementary to the menu.Deserts were nice as well, especially the Opera Cake and the Pavlova (I could have had a pint of the home made raspberry sorbet that comes as a side to it!).Service was also a star milestone. We had Charlie as a waiter. It makes a huge difference when you have someone that is passionate about what he’s presenting to you, knows the dishes and can honestly tell you about what they are and make genuine recommendations, on top of being good at reading the table, being present without being fake about it, and overall just another highlight of the evening, without being intrusive or over the top (which I find can be the case in some similar restaurants that are training their staff to over sell or use key moments of the evening to interject and justify a tip, or make up for not so perfect aspects of the service).Earth’s environment keeps you relaxed in a very beautiful and elegant room that transports you to a little fairy land of an elegant lodge lost in a wintery forest in Maine. It’s very chic, yet not stuffy. It’s cozy. It has a great vibe for adults, no matter the occasion. But let the Earth’s environment set the mood, I think you should focus on the food, if you’re into it… you can have fun putting together your prix fix menu and have a jolly dinner with someone you like…The only aspect of the night that I think deserves attention from management is that we had a table next to us with a small child, 5 or 6, that was watching Nickelodeon on mum’s phone, without an earphone. My friend could hear Dora the Explora’s every move in her quest to find her backpack… but it was an early winter Saturday evening and the girl was a saint. I would however, empower staff to monitor and curb anyone using their phones on speakers, or FaceTime, while at their table.It was a GREAT dinner! Coming back soon!”

“I tried the Pistachio Latte because it sounded delicious and I'd read positive reviews about it. It did not disappoint! The Maple Pumpkin Butter Toast was equally delicious. The staff and service wasn't lacking either. On a cool, dreary day, this spot was warm and satisfying. I'll definitely return.”

“Small, quaint place. Went on a Thursday night around 5pm. Very fast service. House margaritas were flavorful. Wish they were a little heavier on the tequila (but I understand). Smothered burritos aren't huge, but they make up for it in flavor; still had a small portion to take home. Server was very attentive and prompt. Not sure why this location keeps going through name changes but the food to me is good.”

“We took a Saturday drive from Concord NH to Biddeford and looked up Middle Eastern food since we love this kind of cuisine. This place has excellent reviews so we decided to try it. They definitely lived up to their excellent rating. The service was outstanding, the food was beyond delicious and the atmosphere was relaxing with beautiful music playing. Very clean as well. The gentleman who took our order knew it was our first time there and brought us delicious baklava at no charge to welcome us. I ordered the mix grill plate and everything was fresh and delicious. My husband had the traditional gyro and loved it. We will definitely be back to eat again.”

“I’m so glad my husband and I stopped in on a stroll through downtown recently. I don’t know why it took us so long to get back but it certainly won’t again. I love the warm atmosphere. I was worried I would feel underdressed in my jeans and walking shoes but worried for nothing. It feels fancy but everyone was so relaxed and casual. It would be fun to dress up in date night though. I may never be “ just a wine” drinker again. The cocktail was incredible and made me realize I need to expand my horizons. What a perfect location. I can’t wait to sit outside with the flaming patio heaters especially with more green space out front at the intersection. Will be returning soon!”

“Sweetcream is a dream come true. They are the best, best, best in the area. I told my partner one day that I want pumpkin ice cream. I didn't know it could truly exist. A week or so later, lo and behold, Pumpkin Pie was a menu item at Sweetcream. My mind was read! The seasonal flavors are phenomenal: egg nog, gingerbread, cranberry... After some looong days at school, trusty Sweetcream is reliable and open late (as far as local spots go), so I will grab a cone, whether its 75 or 32 degrees out.”

Also had Cloud Puffs; basically round churro balls. Again, outstanding! Open for breakfast and lunch. Typical of Brazilian street food. Nice people, nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.”

Not only has every salad bowl been fresh and delicious, the portions are great, the staff and ownership are incredible, and the add-ons do not disappoint (I'm obsessed with the sea salt chocolate chip cookies and the Miami Mami everyday boost juice). If you're looking for good food that fills you up without making you feel drained (well, depending on your cookie intake), I highly recommend checking out The Garden Bar.”

“The best French toast I have ever had. Obviously cut from a homemade loaf, it was extremely thick, fluffy and moist. With Maine maple syrup. Place is definitely pricey and seating is extremely minimal (just a diner bar with probably 10ish seats) and cash only, but worth a stop if you are in Biddeford needing a fulfilling breakfast. Our server was very nice and everything came out fast.”

“Been coming a few times a year for about, what, 5 years now. This is always the first and most boozy stop for us in Maine. If you like bourbon, high ABV beers, actual flavor, and some dank vibes, this place is for you. The flights help to taper the high ABV so I can try things without loosing it too quickly. Best beer in Maine, and I’ve been to 16 breweries in Vacationland.”

“The Village Tavern is one of the best restaurants in the Kennebunk area. The food is delicious. The lamb dish is extraordinary. The wait staff is friendly and professional. It has plentiful seating both inside and out and a bar area as well. Whenever we want a cozy, intimate dinner, we always head to the Village Tavern.. “Was in town to visit the University of NE, and went here with my gluten intolerant daughter. Absolutely fantastic beer, and had a great time talking to "Pidge" about all things beer, Biddeford & Maine. I could not tell the beer was gluten free - it tasted THAT good. One interesting bonus: after having a couple, I did not get that "full belly" feeling from regular beer. I may have brought some home with me :)”

“Best house of pizza around. Their pizza is very good, not like most house of pizzas where it's super greasy and thin. This is a very well made pie. The staff is always very friendly, and they give back to the community. They will run specials where a portion will go to a local cause. I try and support them every Friday.”

“This place is a obvious local favourite and was packed to gills when we arrived. They took our name andnumber and went across the street to the Good Wine Bar to wait (and they did have good wine!). Called back about 29 minutes later we got a booth in this somewhat kitschy, old neighbourhood place. The crowd was lively! Food was many Italian standards, basic but good. Portions are big and prices are value for money. Service was very good and friendly. So, not a fancy place but we'd go back just cause it feels like home. Thank you.”
