“This place is a gem! Sat at the bar and had excellent service! Ambiance inside was perfect and cute. Parked behind Sonder & Dram with no issues.I started with an espresso martini (spectacular!) and the French onion dip, which was incredible! The salt and vinegar chips that came with it were delicious and fresh! Had the steak & frites for a main with the blue cheese butter, a fantastic paring. Ended with a delicious crème brûlée! Hands down best restaurant in L/A!!”
“Cupping Pepperoni Pizza for 12 bucks is TMNT status. Ooey-gooey & crunchy EVERY time. They're located at the Auburn Library making this spot even more cool :) Thanks Cibo!”

“prices are reasonable, coffee shop is clean, and the coffee is delicious!Parking: 2 free spots right out front, and many metered spots on the side road next to the coffee shop”
“This is the place you’ve been looking for! When it comes to old-school bakeries, Italian Bakery is the one! Their pastries are phenomenal to say the least, and everyone’s favorite seems to be the Lobster Tail. I haven’t heard a single negative comment about it. In addition, you should definitely try their cannoli, lemon square, cookies, doughnuts, or anything else that catches your eye! However, keep in mind that the demand is high, and products sell out fast. So, do yourself a favor and order ahead if you want to ensure you can sample everything your heart desires. Also, their sandwiches are not to be missed! Italina Bakery is definitely worth the trip!”
“Food was great. the waitress was super! Came in on Saturday, expecting a wait. We got to sit right down! But somehow was still busy which I love to see. Food came out super fast. The 2 I came in with LOVED the pancakes. Coffee was really good! If I lived in Maine it would be a regular spot for me. Great job! If I ever end up in the area again I will be back”
“The staff is amazing and they always greet you with a smile. And my favorite is the chicken Caesar salad. Their recipe for their chicken is kept under a lock and key because it is delicious. Great spot for lunch or dinner!”
“Last year I was looking for someone who could make a custom birthday cake for my daughter. A relative told me they got their cakes from Tara. So, I reached out to her. It was so easy to communicate with her, and the cake came out exactly as we wanted. It also tasted amazing! Everyone kept saying they normally didn’t like fondant, but they loved this cake.We just celebrated my daughter’s birthday this past weekend and again Tara nailed my daughter’s birthday cake. She will be our go to every year.”
“I brought a friend with me. I've been there before. It has been a while, but as soon as I walked in, I was treated like an old friend. I even got a hug. The food is great. I had a burger and my friend wanted a hot dog. If I am in the area again, I will be back.. if going, you might have to find parking. There is parking there, but the place is busy, so you might have to look for a place to park. But it is worth it.Parking: There is parking, but the place is so good that you might have to find parking on the streets. I can tell you that it is worth it.”
“The manager Eric was absolutely amazing, very kind, personable, friendly, and remembered my husband and son from the very first time they came in for take out. Eric made us feel like VIP’s, and gave us amazing customer service. Our server Spencer was amazing as well! Easily the best service we’ve ever had. He very attentive, very kind, patient with our son when he broke a glass. The food is to die for! We started with the fried calamari and it had the perfect hint of spice (and I don’t do spice but it was amazing) I had the Penne with vodka sauce and added chicken (absolutely amazing) my husband had the Seafood Pomodoro, I didn't try it but he didn’t even stop to take a break. He loved it! My mom had the Spinach and cheese Tortellini and it was amazing as well! Then we all ended with the tiramisu and it was creamy and delicious! Absolutely amazing all around! There is nothing bad I can say about our experience. I cant wait to go back again! If you haven’t been here you’re missing out! This place is my favorite and a must try!”
“Excellent example of how superb Asian cuisine can be by avoiding the bland, dumbed down standards offered by the typical slop-slinging cookie cutter, "Chinese Restaurants" that flood the US.”
“Guthries is hands down the cutest little nook in Lewiston! The vibe is speakeasy meets craft lunch and I am HERE FOR IT. They have a soft spot for vegetarian/vegan options without sacrificing the flavor, ask for their homemade hot sauce, you won't regret it. Everything is very fresh & made to order, and the baked goods are out of this world delicious but usually fly out the door long before lunch time, fair but sad for the late riser like me, lol Everyone that works at Guthries is kind and funny and friendly, 100/10 recommend.”
“Nice little dinner with good food and friendly staff. They don't do reservations so get there a little earlier than you want to eat, especially on Sundays as you will likely have a little bit of a wait.”
“An outstanding place for a night out! A very cool kitschy unique destination. They have delicious food (including truly, next level tasty flatbreads), a great selection of craft cocktails and some on tap beers. They are often hosting activities such as, karaoke, trivia, cribbage, poetry readings, etc. The staff is so friendly and there are other locales (Sonder&Dram, the Vault, Forage) nearby to make it part of a fun bar hopping night!!”
“Truly the best place to get ice cream in the state of Maine. Excellent service and great prices. My family and I have been customers for years and have never been disappointed.”
“Terry & Maxine's absolutely surpassed our expectations of a diner. We were impressed by the extensive menu, the portion sizes, and the flavors in the dishes themselves. Everything tasted homemade and authentic. We ordered the Mexicali Benedict (pictured), Irish Benedict, and side of French toast. For two, this ended up being a lot of food, so we brought some home. This was our first time here but know this will become a regular spot for us. And the staff were kind and prompt! Couldn't have asked for better.”
“We had the Beef Ban Mi and the Steak and Flank Pho, they were both phenomenal. Everything was so fresh, the service was amazing and the atmosphere is very clean.”
“The food was delicious, service fantastic, and the vibe was sweet and local. The baked goods are especially yummy- the gingerbread cake was the best we've ever had. They also have gluten free bread! And it tastes good!”
“Yummy treats, a little expensive but super friendly service. Parking on street and across from parking garage.Parking: Street parking, very small parking on side of building and parking garage across the street.”
“These guys make phenomenal pastries and bread items! My favorite, when they make them, are the s’more Whoopie pies. I could list off dozens of other items, but you should just go in and try things out for yourself! It will not make you sad.?”
“Vegan friendly- Loved this restaurant in the center of this cute little old town. Found several Vegan option like Vegan Gyoza and Tempura Veggie Sushi Rolls. All veryvery good. The staff was adorable too.”
“Don't miss out on this hidden gem! Old fashioned pastry filled with cream and a variety of fruit fillings. Stuffed cookies, cream horns, breads, and pies. And the variety of slow roasted salted nuts served warm from the roasting case can not be beat!”
“I've always said that The Heritage is one of GR's best hidden gems. This restaurant is run by students at the Secchia Institute for Culinary Arts and offers a fine dining experience at a fraction of the cost. There are a few tips you'll need to pay attention to if you'd like to check it out. First, sign up for their email list so you get notified when their reservations open. They have extremely limited hours and dates that they're open (usually only two months throughout the year for a few days each week). The second thing to know is that your meal may take a bit longer than if you were to go out to a restaurant. Since it's a teaching environment, you may overhear instructors telling students how to properly clear tables, giving them tips, etc. and your food may take a bit longer to come out. All that said, if you can get a reservation for lunch or dinner at The Heritage, I highly recommend it. For dinner they usually offer a pre-fixe menu although it has changed over the years. I've dined at The Heritage several times now, for both lunch and dinner. If you have the time for a longer lunch, it's really fun. Nate and I went on their very first day of service during the winter 2024 session and it was great! You could definitely see some nerves, but we were enthusiastic and encouraging. We ordered a bunch of items from the menu: hand pulled mozzarella, chopped salad, shrimp bisque, pork curry, haute style beef, and two desserts. They start you with bread service, and they kept asking if we wanted more throughout the meal. The first few courses were spaced out appropriately and presented nicely. I LOVED the hand pulled mozzarella - it was flavorful and the baguette was perfectly toasted and not too crispy. I'd order that again. The salad was a huge portion and so beautifully plated, but it was a little lacking in flavor. I added some salt which helped. (In general, I have found most of the food to be a tad under seasoned for my taste, but they had salt and pepper shakers on the table). Our entrees took a bit longer to come out, but they were delicious. I preferred the haute beef, which was a perfectly cooked (medium rare) filet on some potato croquettes with delicious sauce. I did think it was interesting they didn't ask me how I wanted the steak cooked, but it was great. They also didn't offer a steak knife, but it wasn't necessary. The pork in the curry was super tender and cooked really nicely. Dessert is displayed on a cart that they bring around which is really fun. We went with the mocha latte torte and the raspberry passionfruit torte. I loved the mocha latte torte as it reminded me of tiramisu. In lieu of tips, an 18% service charge is added to each check and this money is put into scholarships that go back to the students. They also provide a comment card that you can give feedback on at the end of the meal. If you are a patient and kind foodie with a bit of time on your hands, definitely try to make it to The Heritage for a meal!”
“Had fish tacos( way out of my comfort zone) and they were delicious! There should be 3 or 4 to the order instead of 2! Ill go again. Great service too. Dessert was soooo good!”
“Tried for the first time! Counter server was very nice I ordered whole belly claims w/onion rings. Food was very good & fresh. Atmosphere is very unassuming & plain. Give it a try!.”
“Cute bake shop on Rte 132 in Monmouth. Excellent pastries, friendly staff, and clean restroom! What more could a pastry loving traveler want when passing through! Be sure to stop. You'll be glad you did!Parking: Parking for a few cars in front. Doesn't really seem like more parking would be needed.”
“I was born and raised in Arizona and most everything that passes from Mexican food here I’m sorry to say is not Mexican food. It’s the Maine version of what they think Mexican food is. This tastes like the Mexican food you would get in a taco shop in Arizona or Southern California.”
“Really enjoyed everything there, food was good, server was really nice!Only thing holding it back was to many of the same game on the television, would have been really nice to see some variation in choice.Would recommend to anyone who likes sports bars!”
“I love Fielders choiceParking: Drive thru or plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Baby cones and dishes availableWheelchair accessibility: Yes wheelchairs can easily get in”
“My wife and I don’t eat out often due to our dietary restrictions. We both have celiac, so gluten can make us very sick. Our server, Amber had met with the Chef and hostess ahead of time. They worked together to plan a meal we could enjoy safely. Sedgley Place made gluten free bread, and deserts for us. Amber was able to answer all of our questions at the table, no need to run and ask the chef! The service was every bit as amazing as the food.Dietary restrictions: Gluten FreeDairy Free”
