“This place was jumping!! Line wrapped fully around the counter and out the door! And their food explains why! From their pastries to their pizza everything was so tasty! We also got this sausage with jalapeño and cheddar cheese wrapped in a melt in your mouth croissant! It was so delicious! I ate all my food before thinking of taking a picture because it was that tasty! oh ya, and don’t forget to try one of their house made crullers!”

“I thought it was a little pricey. We went at a busy time. They really packed them in. I got baked stuff lobster and it was delicious with whole shrimp and scallops in the stuffing. Not much "stuffing".The dining room overlooks the water but we couldn't see it because of the other tables.”

“Great food and some unique combinations of ingredients. Spinach salad was excellent. Very tasty roasted garlic dressing. Had the stuffed sole special. Sauce was a lemon caper which over powered the delicate fish although my friend loved it. Tight seating so not much privacy between tables. We got there just before 5pm on a Thursday in March and place was almost full. They don't take reservations so go early.Parking: Small parking lot for restaurant. Street parking available”

“We've stopped here before and it was great so we made a return trip and all I can say is WOW!!! The spicy guava chicken sandwich was PHENOMENAL! I can't forget about the yuca fries that were so delicious! Thanks for a TASTY lunch!!!”

“Anneke Jans Kittery is truly a gem . Its elegant cozy atmosphere is so inviting and each time we go there it is the best dining experience. The open hearth kitchen visible from the dining room is beautiful !The service is always impeccable and every staff member is so friendly . They have a more formal dining room , or you can also dine in the bar area which is equally as cozy.The food is amazing every time we go and they have great cocktails . The owners are wonderful also and you feel so welcomed all the time .We both got a fish dish which was so well seasoned and delicious . They also have amazing vegetarian option which we have tried many times .It’s our favorite place for Birthdays , Anniversary or any other reason . In the summer they have a wonderful patio to dine in overlooking he whole Foreside .We can’t wait to go back !Vegetarian options: So delicious and innovative !”

“I enjoy this place a lot. Old school. Wish they would open the dining soon. They had a hard winter with the flooding this January. This venue is right on the water. Real cool watching the boats come by. Best salad bar in the area. Pumpkin bread rocks!”
