“This Dunkin has a magnetic field that attracts my car to it almost every day! We are greeted at the speaker, sometimes by name, then are always passed the goods with a friendly smile by seemingly happier staff than any other fast food drive- through in town. They are not the fastest but definitely have the best attitudes and customer service. I regularly visit the other Dunkin's in town so I know which is best- Oakland KMD gets 5 stars from me!!! ☆☆☆☆☆”

“The Iraqi Kebab Market is where I go when I'm craving flavor. Prices are very reasonable, especially for portion size, and the food is consistently great. We got a friend their Iraqi pickles and baklava set from the grocery side of the store and he loved them. It's fun to try a little drink whenever we go: my boyfriend is a big fan of the yogurt drink and I am partial to a mango juice.Dietary restrictions: Everything is halal and there is no alcohol served.”

“They have some of the best coffee and it's really nice to have a cafe in the area where you can sit and sip for a while. Their pastries are good, but nothing too spectacular and you never know which ones will be in stock. I find their cakes to be a little dry and overly sweet, although the lemon cake frosting tends to even that out. It's not somewhere I go regularly, but it's good for special occasions; the pastry boxes and tea time sets are very nice.”

“This place had an interesting atmosphere. The food was good and presented well. The waitress was super friendly and accommodating.Parking: They screwed with the parking situation downtown in an attempt at gentrification to appeal to the college crowd's families. This resulted in far worse traffic and fewer parking spots. You may have to park in the Goodwill parking lot and walk, if there is room there.”

“I'm almost afraid to post this as I don't want to let the secret out. First time in, we stopped in for brunch. Had THE BEST sausage gravy I've ever had, and it's something I try everywhere I go. The wife even liked it, and she is normally not a fan. It was served over the most delicious, crunchy sourdough toast. Amazing! She had the steak bomb breakfast burrito and we both loved it. They didn't have hot coffee, but their iced coffee was a pretty good substitute. Waitstaff was pleasant, helpful, and very friendly. We will definitely be back to try lunch and dinner. Love the historic theme. It showcases an important part of the state's history in a really classy and tasteful way.Kid-friendliness: Strong pub vibes, so not really aimed at kids. No kids menu for brunch. That being said. We brought our 5 year old grandson. They were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. He had their French toast and bacon with chocolate milk(in a glass, but we made it work) He really enjoyed the river jack theme and we spent our meal looking at the photos and log Amp on the walls and talking about log drives”

“Sunrise has the best bagels in central Maine. Their sandwiches are awesome, too. The Hathaway and Sherwin are personal favorites. The Kennebec is the best pork roll you’ll find north of Jersey.”

“First time eating here was a first rate dinner. Are a lunch meal here, fantastic. Staff went out of there way to keep you happy. Servings were more than I could eat. Yes, take exit 133 turn towards Skowhehan less than a mile on the right. It's worth a stop. Locals said there breakfasts are wonderful.”

“I truly enjoy dining at the Two Cent! I typically only go on trivia nights to kill two birds with one stone, and I'm never disappointed. The owner is amazing and a heck of a hard worker, but she will always take time to thank you - or even chat for a sec if things aren't too busy. Food is great. “The Jewel of India is a locally owned non chain restaurant. They do a great job with friendly service and serving really amazing food. The staff does a great job of describing the menu and making sure your not getting a hot dish if your palette can't take it, buuut they will also kick up the heat if that's what u like. If your in waterville check this place out. It's well worth the stop.Dietary restrictions: Even though the menu doesn't say it they have lots of gluten free options. So ask your server about that.”

“Ordered takeout online and food was ready when it said it would be. Everything was still nice and warm by the time we got it home. Fries were crispy (I could have had more), no complaints on the steak bombs, and the wings were good too (didn't see an option online to get a side of ranch or anything, that would be nice). We'll definitely be back to try some other items. Prices are affordable.”
