This is now called Dina’s, but that business isn’t updated in google yet.My thoughts?Yuuuuuummmmmmmm. Yum.This family-owned business makes their food with LOVE and you can tell! Not only are the staff just absolutely delightful people, but the food is also divine. On recommendations of the staff and customers, I tried:Chicken Schwarma — wow. The bread has that slight chew, the pickled ratio is just right and the spices and tahini have that “je ne sais quoi”.Dolmas — yes. Just yes.Labneh — I was told to take it home and enjoy it for breakfast. LORDAMERCY, it was amazing! I like a little sweet in my yoghurt so I added some agave syrup. Wow. Creamy, thick and subtle spices.Bread — I couldn’t resist buying a pack. It’s chewy and tasty and I’m here ? for ? it.

Now called Dina's. Great Middle Eastern cuisine and bakery. I ordered 25 sandwiches and they were awesome. Incredible hummus and labneh.

I am so sad the place is closed, I am watering just by looking at the food pictures in their websites and comments. My husband and I went early evening several times a few month ago, the place is locked ??

We went to the store on Friday around 3 pm, and it was closed without anybody there although it was supposed to be open from noon to 7 pm!! They closed the store without any noticeBefore going there, I called the store to ask about their foods, but the phone was on answering machine, and didn't accept any voice message because it was full.

I had a door dash order for here. And the driver got there, at noon in the middle of the day and the restaurant which said it was open was completely locked and no one was there. I had already paid for my food and it took forever to get a refund. The restaurants phone and voicemail were also full so I couldn’t contact them.

Excellent customer service. The store offers many Middle Eastern grocery and gifting type items. We ordered from the restaurant - an entire chicken rotisserie which came with delicious home made rice with nuts and raisins, lamb and chicken gyro and fresh home made Brest. The food was excellent and very fresh. The portions were high. There was enough rice in the tray to feed a family of 6 easily. The chicken was super flavor and fall of the bone tender. The owner is super nice s as bd hospitable. We were so glad to find this gem during our trip to Maine. Given we are from NJ/NY area our expectations for Middle Eastern food was already high and Ameera's surpassed our expectations in every way. Definitely worth going - just pre order the chicken to allow for longer cooking time. Enjoy delicious Halal (not typical greasy) food while visiting. Definitely plan to order again. Enjoy!!!

We were craving shawarma. It was exciting to find one only a 30 min drive away. Quick efficient service. Good food.

Personally, this is the best gyro spot in Maine, so I’m not happy about writing this review. Anyway, my bf and I wanted to patronize Ameera Bread today and had the worst experience. I understand that the restaurant is busy as there is only ONE employee, so we graciously waited for about 20 minutes even though we were told initially that it would be a 10 minute wait. So we waited and then finally he brought the four gyros out to us in a brown paper bag, half wrapped, and without wearing a mask and gloves. The fact that the gyros were out in the open and not even in a plastic bag for safety, along with him not wearing a mask was off-putting. My bf brought the gyros back to him and requested a plastic bag, which he did oblige, however when I thought about the fact that he wasn’t wearing a mask or gloves, I couldn’t eat the food. I went back into the store and requested a refund. Not once did he apologize for the service and claimed that he was wearing gloves. Clearly he wasn’t because he goes from touching everything and everywhere to making gyros without gloves and without a mask. We’re from NYC and have been extremely cautious, so to go to this establishment and witness the carelessness in there, I’d say be cautious and observe EVERYTHING!

Go for the hummus and naan, stay for the gyros and shawarma. Best around, hands down.

Zero stars actually. The chicken schawarma was VERY dry and hard, apparently made a long time before we ordered it, probably sitting under a heating lamp or something all day. We barely ate the chicken and were very disappointed and still hungry. Will never be eating here again, and do not recommend it to others. We just paid 16 dollars for this meal - not happy. We’ve had great Mediterranean food before and this comes nothing close. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SPEND IT SOMEWHERE ELSE.
