Day after XMAS buddy and I hit Cabelas and then had mussels chowder and crab cakes. Sat at the bar. Very comfortable and would have stayed longer but for an appointment in MA. Will return with the spouse for entrees on the deck in April!
For our quick visit to Portland, we wanted an experience dinner. While we were hesitant due to the mixed food reviews, we made our reservation for DiMillo's, which was only a couple of blocks from our hotel. While we found it on the map, we were surprised how long the walk was from the street to the dining room, but it wouldn't be bad in nicer weather. Amazing! The food was so delicious and do keep in mind that the menu constantly changes due to popular demand or availability of the products. I will definitely bring my family back and the atmosphere is something that you should not miss! I was not aware that I was on the water until I got off. The best perk is that you don’t have to look for a parking because they have one on their lot!
