We had never been to Maine and decided to take a random trip in the middle of winter. We stopped in one night and had the lobster stew, seafood chili, lobster roll and a cup of coffee! Everything was delicious and the woman working was a sweetheart. Definitely worth the try!

Enjoyed our visit. We had a table in the front with a street view which was great for people watching but not noisy at all. Rustic with character. Friendly and welcoming.Food was tasty and great value. Really enjoyed the whole lobster. Fries were excellent.Would definitely come again.

Very good chowder, Ok lobster roll. A bit of a tourist trap when it comes to prices.
The seafood was decent, but it didn't stand out as exceptional. Our experience with the lobster roll in NYC was far superior.

Had a delicious lobster roll and have visited three times already since arriving in Portland for work. Each time I've had a lobster and a cold pint of Portland Pale Ale. Roll had the right dressing as it didn't overpower the flavor of the lobster meat. The seafood chowder was very tasty on a cold day. Old restaurant with limited seating but offered good pricing and quality. At times when busy the service was good but on a seperate visit it took them 5-8 minutes to come by the table after I sat down. I had to ask for server. This was the only isolated instance where service was lagging but the rest of the times they were very attentive.

The service was good. I had super seafood chowder with bread bowl and fried calamari. It tasted ok but not worth it. The super seafood seems shrinking seafood and I even can’t find a little haddock, a small chunk of lobster and some tiny shrimps…The fried calamari is small too. Well, maybe it’s shrinkflation happening here.
