After several false starts, I finally got to try the Miss Portland Diner, and it was worth the wait. I had a basic staple - the bacon cheeseburger with fries. It was cooked to perfection and I devoured it fast. I also learned that a downeast Reuben sandwich is an open faced sandwich, which was much to the chagrin of my dining partner. Service was decent and vibe had a cool old skool diner feel to it. I will be going back and trying more food. I will adjust this review accordingly.

Incredibly packed, but that just means it's popular and yummy. Food was pretty good and the staff were super nice.

My mom & I went here for breakfast while I was visiting her last October 2023. It's an adorable little place, you're siting inside an old train car, it is a very unique experience. The food was very good, I built my own egg scramble/omelette with: Swiss cheese, spinach, broccoli, and pork sausage. It was delicious The service was very quick & friendly too. I can't wait to go back and try something else on their menu.

Very pleasant service, child friendly. We came in 1/2 hour before closing on a busy afternoon but we were seated quickly. I loved my bacon cheeseburger with home made potato chips, yummy coleslaw and a good dill pickle. Peanut butter and jelly is not on the menu but was easily arranged. So glad to have found this great diner!Kid-friendliness: Very

I went for the first time this morning and it was a nice experience. It's your typical diner, great service and delicious food. Opted to not sit in the diner car but, I'm sure that sitting in there would've added to the experience. Check them out!

Went during the middle of the week at 11. Be ready to wait longer than usual for the most blah breakfast around. Eggs Benedict was dry and potatoes were raw.

A little too crowded for me, could barely get between tables, mixed up our eggs, but happens. Otherwise it was good. Great service from the waitress.

Quaint little diner in Portland. Unique setting with the train car (sort of bummed cause we didn't get seated in the train car but rather the seemingly new extension to the building). Was jamming on a Sunday morning. 30 min wait but we didn't mind. Overall good food, authentic diner experience, do recommend. Multiple hot sauce and condiment options, felt like I was in heaven.

Great diner! Good food and plenty of free parking which I found is a commodity in Portland.

I love the old diner car. It's so cool and rare these days. The food is great with big portions. Not sure how you could go wrong.

Classic Diner in Portland, ME. Easy to get to and plenty of parking.REAL maple syrup and kickass buttermilk pancakes. Everything else on the menu is great too.
