We dined at the Old Port Sea Grill & Bar on our last visit to the Portland area. The seafood was very fresh, and the service was great. They served up one of the best lobster rolls that we've ever had!

Jillian was attentive and friendly. The service was great. The drink menu seemed limited. There's a huge wine list, not much for craft beer drinkers while being located in a craft beer city and there was a "shmedium" cocktail list. Come here for the raw bar. Legit one of the best oyster spots in Portland. The calamari was good, but nothing to go crazy about - it definitely scratches that itch when you're craving a light battered basket of sunshine. The lobster grilled cheese sounded glutenous but was so worth it - absolutely order this. It was LOADED with lobster. The fries that come with it are delicious and I don't go crazy over fries. My fiancee got the salmon BLT and when I asked what he thought about it... He responded, "it was good". ? There's a reason why he doesn't do the reviews LOL. Anyways, he did love it though. Would we come again? Yes. Is this a good date night spot? Yes. We'll be back.

Let me start by saying, my fiancé and I are from a not-so welcoming city. Our usually dining experience would not be describe as “personal” or “engaging”. So, when visiting Portland we had no expectation of the level of service nor hospitality that we would receive at Old port. From the very start, Justin was quick to turn our birthday celebration into a thoughtful and rewarding experience for both my fiancé and I.We were led to our very clean, comfortable table and our accommodating, welcoming server Roza. Not only was she well educated on the menu, she answered our questions in a friendly thank you for asking manner. She is certainly someone to ask for by name when visiting. After dinner we were approached by Justin, who inquired about our stay in the city. After hearing it was our first time in Portland, he sat with us to give his excellent recommendations of local bars and restaurants. To see him so eager to support the businesses of Portland while maintaining humility in his own very excellent establishment was both refreshing and inspiring.Overall, we were so grateful for the service provided to us, as well as the spectacular food we absolutely loved.Justin, Roza, thank you for being our favorite part of our trip. We can’t wait to stop in again.Sincerely,Mr and Mrs Noah

Came here for my birthday dinner while spending the weekend in Portland. The oysters were delicious and entrees were just as great! Our server Roza was so sweet and really made our experience. Would 100% recommend.

Dinner group of 6. Walked in no reservation needed. A total win in the Old Port during a holiday week. Maybe a bit longer than expected to get drinks ordered, there were a couple other large parties so may just have been staffing. Rosie our server was excellent. Made some lovely recommendations that helped our group decide on what to order. We had everything from a cup of chowder, burger, blackened scallops and fish n chips. All presented very nicely. I would absolutely go back, only suggestion if in the winter is ask to be seated away from the door. Enjoyed very much.

The oysters and bubbles were quite nice. The red-headed bartender with the mustache was friendly and provided prompt service. I’d go again.
