This is a great location.Full of character and the pizza is absolutely delicious. My personal favorite is the bacon Ricotta and Sweet potato pizza!!!! Love How they use only the freshest ingredients and put pride into their food!!! Is always a must hit when I am in the mood for a pizza. And not to mention the meatball sub is delicious!!!! They also have a great cheesecake selection and have soda's slices to go!!!!

I didn’t realize this place was so close to me. Walked by today and could smell the pizza but didn’t have to stop to try it. Will soon and do full review at that time.

Used to be a huge Otto’s fan, but not now Pizzaolio is the best place to get a slice or a pie in Portland!! There Greek salad is also exceptionally good.

As a lifelong New Yorker I have been bummed that there was no truly NY pizza in Portland. I was so delighted to find this place. This is as close as you are going to get in Portland to a true NY slice. And New Yorkers want the option to pop in and grab a slice, which no one else seems to do. And we like pizza late into the evening and thankfully this place stays open past 8 or 9 pm. This place ticks all the boxes.

Pizza is top notch, the only reason it gets 4 stars is the price. You can get decent pizza for a fraction of the cost elsewhere.

I had never been to this establishment and to the delight of my friends who recommended it, we popped in to get us some slices on a cold winters day. The interesting thing is when you first walk in, you are taking a time warp to New York city with people hanging out and it literally is like a scene from a movie. There really is not much seating (maybe 5-6 tables) but you really don't need it as you are in and out eating some slices (I had two) and probably don't need to relax and partake. The two slices that I got was pepperoni and ricotta and a slice with hanburg and mushroom. They bother were delicious and were pretty close in comparison to a New York style slice. The staff was super friendly and were having fun and made the experience a little better as there was a line of people getting some Za. We will be back again.

Very decent late night pizza! Friendly staff, decent price, several options ready to go.

I grew up in NY eating thin crust slices. My brother lives in Portland and every time I visit, this pizzaria is a Must Have. Perfect crust, top tier sauce, great selection of toppings (but nothing frou frou). Staff is chill and friendly. Treat yourself!

Best late night pizza. Reminds me of a perfect New York slice ?

The crust is consistently crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, the sauce is perfectly seasoned, and the cheese is gooey and delicious.

Call to order and then was told they only do it for DoorDash. No big deal normally get worried if it’s through DoorDash cause it takes forever but I got the pizza within 25 minutes and the pepperoni was so good with the perfect amount of grease. The crust had the best crunch I googled the closest pizza place to me at a hotel and it was honestly worth it. I definitely will be going back when I come up to Portland, Maine, and when I move there, this will be my go to pizza place.

Not really set up for dine-in, but the pizza makes up for it. Superbly done in true NY fashion. Tried "The Porko" and was utterly thrilled by the quality and taste. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside is a lack of free parking in the immediate area during normal working hours.Parking: During working hours most streets allow only 15 minute parking a few small side streets allow 1hr, otherwise it's paid parking.
