The food at Hunt and Alpine is always amazing and the cocktails are consistently the best I have had. Nothing on the drink menu jumping out at you? Tell them what you like and they will surprise you. We go there multiple times per trip and never get tired of it.

Best drinks in New England. That pretzel is of German quality. I love this space with all my heart.

I’ve had some interesting cocktails here and I enjoy the atmosphere. The service has always been good. I was confused by the choice to serve oysters on salt instead of ice. Unfortunately this led to our oysters being served at a luke warm temperature, so some ice would’ve really helped that situation. The oysters were also not properly shucked, which is just surprising for any business serving oysters in Maine. I have not been as impressed by the cocktails as other reviewers, but I’m open to try a few more until I find one that I like.

Wow!What a cool place. It’s like a high end European restaurant made a baby with a homey/comfort food restaurant- and what you get is this place. The prices were super affordable for the quality of the ingredients. Every dish we tried left my friend and I staring at each other after the first bite with big sparkly “omggg “ eyes. Our server was really lovely and attentive. The kitchen is open. The dining set up is very spacious but still quite a lot of seating. Very clean. Can’t wait to go back asap.

Went back for cocktails two nights in a row. Highly recommend the chocolate chip cookies, before they run out! ?

Sat at the bar and ordered a Manhattan. The bartender asked what kind and I didn't know there was a thing called a black Manhattan but how she made it was delicious. They were out of the smoked salmon and it was only 730pm so that was too bad but I really liked it! Didn't eat there so no review of the food. The ONLY negative (and it's not even a negative about them!) was that I was the only so gle person at the bar so other than the bartenders, when they weren't super busy) I didn't talk to anyone. If you're a single person looking to socialize it's probably not the best place but if you want a good Manhattan this was that!

Worst espresso martini I have ever had and so overpriced for the subpar stuff you get.Update: now the 2nd worst espresso martini I've ever had.

Stopped in a rainy day for some cocktails (did not sample the food!!) Despite it raining on and off, they let us sit outside with our dog (no service outside for that day). They were extremely accommodating and even provided us with an umbrella. I loved that each drink had a description, which was very informative and accurate. I ordered the pumpkin espresso martini (on the seasonal drink menu) and thought it was a great twist on a basic cocktail. I really enjoyed the customer service, as well as the drinks at this location.

PHAC is a mandatory stop when we come to town. They frequently update their menus and the offerings never disappoint. The small plates pair perfectly with their delicious and unique cocktail selections.

Fantastic bar in Portland. We only had one night there on our trip, and so glad we stopped in! Cocktails were delicious, unique, and well worth the price. Get the Finnish meatballs! Service 10/10 as well.
