If you enjoy the dive bar vibe this is your place. Great drinks, delicious eats, and top notch service. Seriously, stop in and give them a try on your next visit to Portland. The fries slap and the "dirt" wings are some of the best you'll have. Did I mention the prices are great as well. ? ? ?
Tomaso’s is awesome! This is a great spot for anyone visiting the Portland area that wants a local vibe with fairly priced cocktails, draft, cans, and grub! The Happy Hour specials served Daily 3-6pm are a major bargain. See my pics! The Sat/Sun brunch from 11-3pm also has some great offerings. The dump truck fries were excellent. Who knew brussel sprouts would be so good with fries! The mozzarella sticks were a nice childhood throwback for me. I admit it’s been a while. The wings with Thai chili sauce were the best part. And during happy hour, they’re $2 off. The staff seated us quickly and moved expeditiously to serve everyone with a smile. Many thanks! I’ll be back! Enjoy everyone!
What a lovely place for brunch.I'd recommend the Tom's Griddle (sp?).Also the dumptruck fries are divine.
This place is a small, intimate little joint with tons of beer options and a nice little pub menu. I have had the Mac and cheese with buffalo chicken and/or Thai chicken and it's amazing and creamy and delicious! I would definitely just opt for the Thai chicken every time, now! The French fries are also (usually) AMAZING, and the sandwiches all come with them! I love the fried chicken sandwich, steak bomb and chicken bomb! I order from there multiple times per week, and will continue to do so, as it's a nice, affordable, casual option to have close to work, in downtown Old Port! (Watch your step, though! )
The deceptive exterior gives you "Oh sh*t, is Gordon Ramsay going to walk in and start chewing out the owners?" vibes.Thankfully, this is a perfect example of never judging a book by its cover.Quaint, relaxed atmosphere with a good selection of drinks to choose from, and with absolutely exceptional food. The Brussel Sprouts were so good I briefly considered holding the chef hostage for the recipe.10/10 would recommend.
Everything a dive bar should be. Beer plus shot special. Beer is ice cold. Had the steak bomb and wow. Blazing hot but so delish. Full of meat and cheese. The fries were awesome as well and hot. Can tell it didn’t sit in the window and thank you for that. Nothing worse then cold fries. Server was friendly and so was the bartender. Place had a great vibe we will be back
Just got into town and could see this place from my hotel room window. Said what the heck and walked over. I found an unpretentious little corner bar with friendly staff, a full beer/wine/booze selection and incredible food. Oh my god, the steak bomb was incredible. The Mrs got a fish sandwich and thought it was great. Very good fries. Go. To. This. Place!

Great AlCOHOL selection, but that's about all they serve for drinks. Wouldn't recommend for the kiddos. The food has always been great and I love that they're open pretty late night. The location is right around the corner from everything (Congress St and downtown). The staff is always nice. I'm not sure if it's unavailable due to the weather, but when they had it available, the outdoor seating was always nice simply because indoor seating is so limited. Luckily the last time I visited (Early April) I was alone so I could afford to sit near the end of the bar to pickup my order and leave. Not everyone travels alone though. One of my favorites, I go visit everytime I'm in town.
Dump truck Fries are amazing!!! Great wings and drinks. Our server was very nice.
Everything was perfect. Food, crowd, beer, whisky and the staff. Except one thing the Bruins didnt win.
If you are from out of town and want to be harassed because you don't have a man bun or you don't know people that are sitting next to you or any commentary is overheard by some local bitch that will judge you all night long and then turn everybody away so if you want that affect which I talk to people hopping into an Uber and they were also horrified from across the entire establishment so in just if they want only local people to populate this place then let them but nobody go there unless you live in Portland and who the hell wants to live in Portland in the first place Please let me add the bar service and the food is epic but management of the social element has nobody to protect you so I market as a higher risk visit
Great place if you want to hang with locals and learn about Portland. Todd was bartender both nights I have been there and he never lets you go thirsty. The food is killer bar food. Just pick something and itll be good. Last huge plus is the kitchen is open till 1 everynight.
Small little dive bar in the Waterfront area of Portland. It seemed like it might be a fun little dive bar, but I only stopped in to get a bite to eat. I ordered the Brussel Sprouts, which were cooked all right. However, they seemed to have used an excessive amount of butter/grease as the bottom of the container was a pool of butter/grease making them Brussels sprouts to greasy.
Cute little dive bar in downtown Portland with a great selection of beers. The bartender was friendly and it was cozy inside. They also had non- alcoholic beers and other options.
