We first visited this location of Sea Dog in the summer of 2022, when its focus was on barbecue. At the time, I though the food was just fair and wouldn't have given it as high of a rating. Much of the barbecue was dry and, while I applaud them for trying something new, I felt like it wasn't a great fit. Sea Dog's newest location has an opportunity to become a special place in South Portland, with bowling available year round for fun with friends and family, and a seasonal waterfront outdoor patio. The hazelnut porter was my favorite beer of the night, with a noticeable hazelnut scent and not too heavy malt flavor. Not worth the price.Food is priced too high.Bathrooms are fine.Parking situation sucks with very faded lines causing issues with people parking.Staff was friendly.Just go across the street to willows. Better vibe. Better value. Far better food.
