Our stay encompassed several days in early October of this year and it was our first time staying there. Accomodations were excellent and we look forward to staying again in the future! The attached photo of the sunrise speaks to the quality of the atmosphere! The lobster rolls served at the deck by the water were spectacular!!
My husband and I were married here last weekend and we could not have asked for a more wonderful place to have our wedding! The venue is absolutely beautiful, the food (especially the passed appetizers) is delicious, and the staff who made our night possible are incredibly kind and helpful. Dockside is one of my favorite wedding venues to photograph! I've shot many weddings there and I've loved every one of them. The staff is top notch, the grounds are beautiful, and view is unmatched, and during your reception you'll probably be visited by a nosy great blue heron. He's popped up at most of the weddings I've shot there. There are so many wedding venues in Southern Maine, you probably can't do any better than Dockside.
