“I think this bakery is a very good spot to get your favorite treats! They sell many verities of doughnuts, cookies, sandwiches, soups, and salads! Staff are very kind and don’t mind helping you out! I loved this place and I very much recommend!”
“Wonderful service and delicious treats. Our family got the banana splits! We don't typically go out just for ice cream and not dinner first but we came down because of the construction and wanting to support a local business. Glad we did! The kids already asked to go back.”
“Absolute gem "hidden" in plain sight! Have driven by numerous times but never stopped in until a recent recommendation from friends. And so glad we did! Even in mid-March they had a short wait on a Sunday morning! People know about this place! Great food with tweaks that put it over the top - candied bacon, vinaigrette on the arugula and pickled onions on the breakfast sandwich. Best I've had in a long time! The atmosphere and decor was great - just what you'd expect from a northern MI camp deli! We will certainly be back!”
“We came by boat and the outside looked pretty sketchy. We almost didn't stop. There wasn't table service but the bartender was friendly. Nice liqour selection. The gouda cheese bites and pizza were amazing!!”
“OMG!!!! I was undecided about what pizza to buy for lunch and I wanted something different and the waiter/cook gave me a suggestion of a Chicken Xordon Blue Pizza… so I took his suggestion and ordered a small one….. wished I had ordered a XXL one !!! That pizza from BC is NOW my favorite!! The staff is so pleasent and accommodating!! Way to hit it out of the park!!! I will be ordering that again soon…..Maybe do Easter dinner!!!”
“Great experience! We arranged to bring our hockey team and families to Bob's Place for a team lunch. We called a couple of weeks in advance and Taylor made sure that we were well taken care of. The whole back room set up and ready for us. Food was great (cheese curds were fantastic!), the kids played the arcade games and pool tables, and the parents were able to relax and watch games on the multiple TVs in the party room. The staff was well organized, friendly, and very accommodating.”
“The restaurant was very clean and the ladies at the counter were speedy and efficient. The food tasted good and fresh as well, with the perfect amount of ingredients on the sandwich.”
“What a delightful shop that everyone should visit! The owner took so much time with us answering all of our questions about his pies. We purchased 4 slices, and they were all delicious!”
“I’m from the U.P and this was my first time over the bridge and Mims was the first place I tired … AMAZING service and the food was in real … 10/10 would come back every ”
“My husband and I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant last Saturday evening. We each had a cocktail, french onion soup, steak, mashed potatoes and creme brulee. Everything tasted amazing. Our waitress Tammy was so kind and caring. She really went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed or wanted. Even though we don't live close, we will definitely be back!”
“Stopped by just for a beer but the food being served looked really good so we decided to eat there. Good choice! Everyone liked their food. A little bit of a wait for food and check but they were busy. I would go again.”
“Cześć! Welcome to Poland! ??My partner and I have come here several times for lunch, and each visit is better than the last! As an honorary Pole, I am always elated to come here! The Polish Kitchen has exceptionally delicious dishes such as their Hunter's Stew (Bigos) and their ginormous Pork Cutlet sandwich! Each meal is quite largely proportioned, so a to-go container is a must! Who wouldn't want leftover Polish food? ? The service is also incredibly helpful and friendly! I cannot emphasize how much thought is put into both their food and service. I also try to practice the minimal Polish that I do know. ? We are always pleased with our time here at the Polish Kitchen! Dziękuję! ??”
“John and Crew do a phenomenal job with their craft. Fare is reasonably priced for portion, and the atmosphere is local AND tourist friendly. Just off the main highway makes it an easy stop in an otherwise small town that has limited offerings. Try it out, you'll be back.”
“Ordered here on a Saturday night while staying at the Highlands. Pizza was ready within 20 minutes and it was delicious. They definitely don't short you on toppings. Would definitely get it again next time I'm there!”
“Just learned about this place today and was so happy I went and checked it out. Some of the best Indian food I’ve had in a long time. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend.”
“We stayed at Stafford's Crooked River Lodge recently, and staff recommended Northwood for dinner on our first night up north. We loved it! Nice decor, great, friendly service, amazing food. Highly recommend!”
“New owners and a whole new Summer Vibe! After crushing it at Snickerdoodlz with Frozen Yogurt, Charis and Suzanne have ventured even further into the frozen treat market with Dairy Zone Petoskey, offering both hand dipped and soft serve Ice Cream! So many flavors and combinations to be had, it's hard to pick a place to start! They also carry a wide selection of Boba tea variations if you're not looking for an ice cream treat! This is going to be one of the hottest spots this summer, don't do yourself dirty miss out!”
“My first time at El Cilantro will not be my last! My fish tacos were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place. As a visitor to the area I value the advice of those I meet who live here. El Cilantro was well recommended, and they were so right. Value local eateries!! Support them. Enjoy your meal!”
“Great small town bar with the usual apps and good burgers. It's nice to find a place that doesn't try to glam up the menu it seems like everyone is trying to be too upscale. This place is a bar and they do it well. I will definitely be a regular when I'm in the area.”
“It’s impossible to not have a good time at Ron’s. Everybody that you meet here exhibits the Midwest charm that upper Michigan is known for. Not only that, there is plenty of things for you to do. Wanna listen to 70s and 80s… they got that! If you wanna quibble over a game of darts or shuffle board… they got that! Easily one of the best bars to spend your valuable time in Petoskey!!!”
“The elk burrito was amazing along with their homemade corn beef hash and homemade B &G's. The waitress was kind informative and never had to wait on anything. I would highly recommend!”
“Pellston Mi, air port may be regional, but this restaurant is first class. Awesome setup, great service and awesome food.I ordered jalapino burger with "amazing house, comma shapped fries, crispy yet with soft potatoes inside. For drink i had "house made" spicy bloodt mary.Simply amazing experience.A must visit restaurant.”
“Stopped in to Crooked Tree just to see what they were about. Ordered the Parmesan Pepper roll, took a bite in the parking lot, went right back in to order the big daddy full-sized one. Wow! Awesome place. Friendly guy at the counter offered samples (the Poblano Cheese Sourdough was great!). Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookie was delicious. Will definitely be back!”
“Is there anything better than a cold beer after skiing at Nubs Nob? Answer...No.Super friendly atmosphere with ample seating inside and out if you wish to sit outside. 90 percent skiiers/snowboarders but there seem to be a few locals that like to visit depending on the weather. Everyone there is there to have fun. You can make new acquaintances there if you like, or just chill out minding your own business. The pub requires guests to be 21 +, so leave the kids behind if you can.Bob the bartender is a great guy and a professional. He will set you up. Drinks only. No food options in the pub.Friendly hint, if possible bring a few bucks cash with you to tip. The credit card machine does not allow a person to add gratuity. I don't normally carry much cash anymore. What little I did have went into the tip jar. I will know better next time.”
“Our family of 6 stopped by after a local recommendation on our way home from a skiing trip. The food across the board was delicious. My turkey sandwich on pretzel bun was literally the best turkey sandwich I've ever had. The service was quick and efficient, she kept our glasses full of water which i appreciate. We will come back on our next trip!”
“Friendly atmosphere, dog friendly!! I got the White Sangria, I must say DELICIOUS!!! Wish I could have gotten a pitcher to go!! I purchased a bottle of the Lake House wine (white sweet wine), can’t wait to share with friends. Will be a place I visit every time I’m in the area.”
“Best store around for miles! They have all my favorite organic food brands and healthy body care brands at fair prices too! They even have organic carrots and local eggs!”
“I like the salads and the paninis the best.Burgers are frozen pattys and the buns are ok.. But… get the fries! Really good.I know they are deep fried but they are not soggy and are between shoestring and steak cut so just perfect. They use fresh potatoes and not frozen. Service is great but only the drive through has been open since covid and I think staffing issues like so many places.Also- the hours on the website are incorrect so call ahead if you plan a special trip over there. They can vary lately.”
“I was honestly surprised that Teddy's didn't have more reviews - it seems like a staple in the area, especially for folks visiting the Highlands resort. The menu options were plentiful and creative, and clearly there was a legacy driving this place - really great food, great service, and cool atmosphere. Really impressed and we will definitely be back next time we head up to the Highlands.”
“Always a good time. Best cider and donuts. The last two years we have also gotten our pumpkins there. The hayride is always a good time as well! The staff is so friendly and I don't think we've gone there and not seen Uncle Frank! Definitely stop by if you can!”
