“I had the honor of performing at the Blue Llama with the Pamela Wise Ensemble, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff and management were top-notch, and the spirit of this beautiful jazz club was unparalleled. Being a part of such a wonderful night was truly an honor, and I can't wait to return to Ann Arbor soon for more incredible shows at the Blue Llama. Special thank you to Dave. ?“
“A bright and open restaurant that feels like a small wedding hall. The small town of Dixboro, surrounded by a nearby stream and trees, is especially lively, and it seems like it's always full of customers.Although the menu is not large, each dish looks great and is sure to whet your appetite. Especially the mushroom pizza is very delicious, so please try it.Parking: There are not enough parking spaces and there are always lines of street parking around the area.“
“I was a little disappointed that our latte did not come with the expected decoration, ingresar it was just plain foam, but the taste was really good tho. I think it depends on the barista. The fruit tart was good too. And they play French music which make it a really nice ambience. Cozy and nice interior.“
“Love Metzger’s! Authentic German cuisine and the Potato Pancakes are absolutely delicious! My husband grew up in a German Family in Ann Arbor and Metzgers was a very big part of his childhood, it’s great to share a memorable meal with him.“
“I go there with intentions to get a delicious homemade dessert the food is good I end up eating full meal and don’t have room for dessert. What’s wrong with me I keep going back for dessert and keep finding good menu meals. Really like their BLT choices and the omelet with spinach, Swiss cheese an ham.I’ll make that early morning coffee and dessert soon.“
“Revel and Roll will forever have a special place in our hearts. We went bowling in our wedding attire after our wedding on a Thursday night. We booked two lanes for our small group and every age from infant to grandparents had a blast. Initially, they put "Congratulations Campbell Family!" on our bowling lane screens and even moved us to end lanes to accommodate our photographer. They found a location for me to get out of my wedding dress, so I didn't have to change in the bathroom. Randomly, we were surprised with arcade credits which we put to great use! Not to mention, the food and drinks were exactly what we were phenomenal. We also really enjoyed how the bumpers would go up and down based on the player - this helped our toddler bowl with the adults. I mean, seriously - this was the best bowling/arcade experience we've ever had. Every worker went above and beyond to make our night special and I wouldn't have it any other way. If you're questioning if you should celebrate an occasion here, DO IT. You will not regret it! Our expectations were exceeded.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Vinology and had an incredible experience. Chef Nick's educational session on knife skills and knife sharpening was both informative and engaging. Not only did I leave with improved culinary knowledge, but I also gained insight into the restaurant's commitment to sustainability, with a focus on sourcing proteins responsibly and operating on a no-waste platform. The food was outstanding, reflecting their dedication to quality and ethical practices. Vinology and Chef Nick have truly set a high standard for culinary excellence and environmental consciousness. Highly recommended for both food enthusiasts, wine-lovers, and eco-conscious diners alike! I cannot wait to see what else Chef Nick has in store for Vinology!-I apologize! I think that was an error. I have changed it :)“
“My visit to the Carlyle Grill was for a work event and we were in a separate room. While our service was fantastic, the food was not what I expected. However, based on a buffet style meal, I would like to go back and have the full guest experience. I think it’s worth the trip.“
“Our server was GREAT, food was good and prices were decent. It's a bit small and cramped for those with walkers or wheelchairs, but it's manageable. The staff was very accommodating.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp on the side of the building, you have to ring the doorbell to be let in that way. It's a bit of a tight squeeze inside the building, but manageable. They have both booths and tables. Bathrooms are accessible.“
“Loved the atmosphere. There's a wall of living plants that entertained our toddler. Their breakfast food was awesome, especially their chocolate chip pancakes and fluffy french toast with berries. We went right after the Shamrocks and Shananigans Run and it hit the spot. It was conveniently close, with awesome food, and good service.Vegetarian options: Many menu items can be made vegan. Allergens we're clearly labeled (we had egg, nut and dairy allergies in our party).“
“I dined with my 4 year old & two 13 year olds. We all shared two baskets of fries, a Club and a tenders app. Including a beer & Pepsi the total only $50. The real 5 ⭐️ goes to the service staff. I’ve truly never experienced better. My toddler dropped her water glass which shattered under our table. Before I knew what had happened the staff were at our table to help. We stood out of the way where someone helped me dry her pants & replaced her water. The staff cleaned the mess then moped/dried the floor within ~3 min. It was AMAZING. Thank you!!“
“Really loved this place. It is a total dive. The food was great, served while hot and plenty for the price. The service was good and our waitress was very nice and efficient. We all got different meals. I had the french toast, which was excellent and the half order was enough. The bacon was also very good. If I lived in the area, this would be a regular place for me.“
“Wow, just had our first meal at Sava’s and it did not disappoint! The aesthetic is chic and trendy but not over the top. Service was excellent, Iman was an absolute gem! Iman was kind, helpful, and very sweet. For cocktails we had Chardonnay and Raki Sour—Raki Sour is a must!…sweet, but not too sweet, a favorite now. Tuna tartare was superb! Fresh and absolutely delicious; not a a bite left. Fish tacos and salmon for the main—both quite yummy and very fresh! Ended with the Chocolate Decadence; and decadent it was! If you like chocolate at all, this dessert is for you. Can’t wait to go back for another fabulous evening at Sava’s!“
“There are only two words that come to mind when we describe Uptown Coney Island - Absolutely Wonderful. The food completely outshines the fancy and high end restaurants in Ann Arbor. It’s a treat to walk in to such a friendly and open hearted eatery. Our meal was fantastic and prepared with the freshest, high quality ingredients. Our waitress (Celina) was conversational, attentive and mindful of our order and needs. Celina truly represents the very best of Uptown. We ran into Gus as we left and he was welcoming and pleasant as always….Make your next stop at Uptown Coney Island; you’ll be delighted at the superb experience you will have!“
“Loved this local diner! Employees were so kind and food was delicious. Loved watching what seemed to be regulars hugging staff bye at the end of the night. We had tried to go to another location but it was closed so we were late and within 30 minutes of their closing but they never made us feel rushed or that we needed to hurry. Will definitely be back!“
“I will preface this and say the food was delicious and the atmosphere was fun. We arrived for an early seating, and were quickly served our salads, starters and wine (we tried an Orange wine that they offered, no taste test allowed so we winged it). Unfortunately we were not even halfway done with our salads, and they brought our main dish. We stated we hadn't finished our salads yet and our server shrugged and put our main entree down anyway. Although the entree was delicious, it became cold because we hadn't finished our salads and starters yet. We hadn't been there long so we were confused by the rush. We asked if he could reheat it and he said no (which I guess makes sense because of food contamination.) Anyway, disappointed we had a cold entree, and the server disregarded our wishes, which seemed completely unnecessary as the next seating wasn't for a long time. We spent around $210 for two vegetarian meals and a bottle of wine they recommended, which would have been worth it if things hadn't been rushed and cold.“
“Staff is on top of their game. The food is 5 stars, and the wine selection is frickin dope. A bit pricey but worth every penny. We had wine flights which allows you to try multiple different wines and it is comes on a placemats that tells you what wine it is. Pretty coolVegetarian options: There are vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: There are options for people with dietary restrictionsParking: There is a big ol parking lot for you to bring all your cars.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm pretty sure it is wheelchair accessible“
“Had a burger with regular fries and the pulled pork with roasted vegetables and sweet potatoes fries - service was good - the food was good - normal sized portions but I thought very expensive for what you received - not sure I would go back $22.50 for a cheeseburger and fries“
“I kind of get the vibe that this place is a "cult classic", especially among the students. I tried for the first time on what I imagine was a busy night - we ordered delivery (via DoorDash, the direct website's delivery ordering didn't extend to our Ann Arbor address) a couple hours before the Detroit Lions hosted their first playoff game in 30+ years - Go Lions!!! Food arrived still nice and warm. We got some hot sauce wings, some garlic parmesan wings, waffle fries, a 6in philly original, and tossed salad. The wings were good! Not the best ever in my opinion, and small/medium sized, but good amount of sauce (not too much or too little) and good chicken. I liked both flavors but preferred the hot sauce ones. The waffle fries were excellent - crispy and fluffy at the same time. I tried a bite of the philly original and it was ok - looked kind of small to me but I appreciated that it didn't bulk up size with just a lot of bread. Salad was ok - did its job of getting us some greens, and definitely better than no salad option / salads at other wing spots. Overall I enjoyed Mr Spots but maybe don't totally get all the hype all the way.“
“COREY!! Thank you! Hopefully I spelt your name correctly! Thank you for your wonderful service man! I appreciate you!The food was dank! Atmosphere was top notch! Beer was AWESOME! I would recommend this place to any and all! Some of my family is in town for the show tonight at the Blind Pig! We got lunch here! Glad we did too because everywhere else was packed! They were so happy to have us.I got a pizza with my mom and it was so good. It was the garlic + onion and the cheese on it was WILD. My brother in law got the Walleye, sister got the Butter Milk Chicken, and her friend got the Tree Town Cob! 10 out of 10! Would recommend.Thank you for the wonderful food and service!!“
“Food is fantastic. A modern menu with items from avocado toast to brioche French toast to biscuits and mushroom gravy. Everything was flavorful, filling, and well priced.A few varied flavored coffee drinks on the menu. The matcha latte was very matcha flavored. Brunch appropriate cocktails were available.Serving staff were happy to let us stay and chat after we'd finished our meal (but it wasn't the heart of the brunch rush.)Parking: Street and parking structures free on Sundays.“
“I do not drink alcohol so cannot comment on that, but my friends seemed to enjoy their drinks especially their beers.I had the eat your grains salad and it was amazing. So tasty and textured. Caesar salad and pretzels were good as well. Beer battered fries were absolutely delicious too. Food portions are pretty good for the price too.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options on the menu and it’s marked properly.“
“My work has ordered many times from Alpha Coney. Today we place a order for 4 lunches for pick up. Today they decided to charge a 20% large party fee. They never have done that in the past. We just got lunch from the restaurant last week and our bill was over $50. No fees then! You have lost our business!!! We will be supporting other businesses in the area!“
“Michael and Leann were absolutely amazing! I was in Ann Arbor for a very special time of meeting my biological family for the 1st time. Their kind, friendly, and attentive service couldn't have been better. The food was just as amazing and even accommodated a vegan diet. The entire staff was awesome, but the personal touch was Leann's giant hug and best wishes as I headed to meet my family for the 1st time. Thank you for being a part of making it that much greater!~DiannaDietary restrictions: Accommodated a vegan diet and everything was delicious!Parking: Plenty of parking!“
“This was an anniversary dinner and we wanted a calm and quiet experience. So we reserved an early table and were placed in a pseudo booth area. Although it filled up towards the end and got noisier, we had plenty of quiet time for our meal. Nikki was a wonderful server and the food was terrific. All in all a perfect evening.“
“Alex my server was simply amazing, quick service and told us about the resident ducks that require feeding for breakfast and lunch :)The food is always good here, I love all of their options of food. Gluten free to plant based. Omelet was awesome and alot of good food.Their decorations are great as well I love the retro look and feel to the whole place.“
“Had the best service today at lunch, my girlfriend and I met up on our lunch break it was very busy we were worried we wouldn't have enough time and our server Sara was AWESOME she handled herself very well and we were very pleased, we will definitely be back and will request her as our server.“
“This is a comfortable casual craft bar with a tasty menu. Most portions were quite generous and we were able to share everything we ordered. The food was tasty and creative. There were many crafted drinks, including several non-alcoholic. There was a nice selection of beers and wines. We went for a casual dinner and were not disappointed by anything.“
“I love this restaurant so much but if they ever "update" their interior I'll never come back. This place is a freakin vibe, I just want to live in there. Also, points for not having tacky TVs on every wall like so many other restaurants.“
“Not my normal place I'd be at but they host a board game event every 2nd Thursday of the month. That was pretty cool. Was fun to try some different cheeses and meats I normally wouldn't. Someone who knows more about wine would enjoy their drinks more than me. But I'll probably be back.“
“Ate breakfast here. Party of 5....3 adults 2 toddlers. Food was delicious. Served fresh, hot and tasty. Got the raisin bread toast and it was warm toasty with a light sugary coating. Had the coffee special, Cowboy Coffee...warm coffee and cream with cinnamon and nutmeg, topped with whipped cream. Also delicious. No one could finish their meal due to generous portions.“
“honestly I went in this place to wait for my Uber home because it was cold outside and raining . I ended up getting a burger just because I hadn't ate all day but the burger turned out really amazing. Every ingredient on this burger was FRESH . I also got a fry with my burger which also hit the spot . the fries were hot and not greasy. I can't wait to go back and order some breakfast or something . 10/10 I recommend yall stop by . THEIE OPEN 24/7“
“As Jolly Pumpkin is our MOST favorite beer and restaurant, we are sad that it seems the service continues to go downhill . Beautiful Sunday afternoon just before 4:00, not busy at all, we were greeted by hostess (only after the server waiting on the outdoor tables blasted in front of us while letting the door close on us only to chit chat with the hostess). We asked the hostess for one of the many empty tables in the front half of the restaurant since the great big windows were open. She said no, she can’t seat only two people at any of the tables. We said that we come often and are sat there quite frequently, without asking. She said she couldn’t seat us there “it’s policy”. Though not one of the tables was sat the entire time we were there. Our server took a bit to get to us but it appeared to be shift change over time. Thankfully, she was super sweet. We ordered two beers and an appetizer to start. 10 minutes AFTER we finished our appetizer, we still didn’t have our beers. Our server kept looking and waiting for them to no avail. One of our two beers was poured, only to sit there on the bar awaiting the other. 25 minutes after we sat down, we finally got our beers, one an inch lower than the rim since the head had disappeared long before. On the bright side, the appetizer, pizza, and beer were delicious and the server was great! And it’s still our favorite place in AA!“
“We went for an early Valentine's date and I couldn't be more pleased with our decision to try this place out! The bread at the beginning of the meal was a little dry and oddly paired with a sweet butter, but then we ordered a pretzel and the cheese sauce it came with was some of the best I've ever had. Then came the French Dip and sweet potato fries. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. The waiter informed me that they had made some recipe changes and instead of caramelized onions and garlic aoili it is now served with fried onions and horseradish sauce. Whoever made those changes deserves a raise. Granted I've never tried the previous version of this sandwich, but it's current iteration is the perfect combination of flavors and textures. I'm not sure if I'll ever enjoy another French dip again. And the sweet potatoes fries were perfectly crunchy on the outside, but so soft and sweet inside. I will absolutely be back... And soon!“
“Kind of a sleeper spot on State St! My husband and I didn't have a dinner reservation on a busy Thursday evening, and most restaurants we walked past on Liberty looked to be full with people waiting. We turned the corner on State and walked past Red Hawk, which looked to have plenty of capacity for walk ins. We went in and were seated right away. Right off the bat, I liked the look and feel of the interior! Cool bar, warm and modern. It does smell a bit like beer, but I don't mind that. We got a couple of apps and an entree to share family style. I also got a Bell's Two Hearted on tap, which you can never really go wrong with. Beer was nice and cold. - Beijing Duck Quesadilla with Mango Salsa. Loved this! It is really nothing like Beijing duck wraps haha, but nevertheless, the quesadilla is meaty and cheesy and the salsa adds the perfect brightness and some acidity (think it's mango and pickled onion). - Chicken Wings. It's listed on the menu as crispy and spicy. It was definitely crispy with a thick fried batter, but not spicy. Served with ranch and blue cheese. I enjoyed! It's not my husband's favorite style of chicken wing, but I like the crunchy crispy layer. The ranch was thick and seemed house made. - Traditional Red Hawk burger (cheddar, lettuce, tomato, red onion, dill pickle) with steak fries. This was a good burger! The veggies were fresh and crisp, and the burger juicy. Steak fries were done nicely. I dipped both in ketchup. We definitely left full and happy. One word of caution though (and why I took a star off) - the food is sodium heavy (I mean, especially with our choice of order so partly on us). But I actually woke up several times over night just super super thirsty. So maybe hydrate better than I did or order healthier items to balance things out a little better haha.“
“From out of town and staying next door at the Doubletree. We went here everyday for breakfast. The food was always awesome. We had Amy and Mary as our servers, these two ladies are absolutely awesome. They were always smiling and busted their humps for us and the other costumers. We are in town every year for training and this restaurant on Plymouth Rd. will be our go to spot. Thank you for everything and the wonderful hospitality.“
“We were staying at the graduate and stopped in for a nightcap and it was a great decision! We inquired about the Amari flight on the menu. The sampling offered three variations of the Italian liqueur but it was the knowledge Armando, the bar manager, shared that was truly amazing. He stopped by the table multiple times to ask us our thoughts and share tips on how to best enjoy the flight. After the tasting he made two amazing cocktails tailored to what we liked from amaro. Highly recommend - especially if you are lucky enough to have Armando as your bartender!“
“This was the perfect place for my daughter and I to go to celebrate a Rose Bowl victory! It was New Years Day ( & a Monday!) So not a lot of options that were open. But Our TEAM won and we wanted to RAGE!!! And thankfully Good Time Charleys was there for us!!!!!! ALSO- With all the TV's, we were able to scout our next opponent!“
“My friend, Kathy and I, stopped in today, looking for someplace for a quick lunch. Our breakfast was good, a little disappointed they ran out of gravy for biscuits and gravy. But our waitress was absolutely phenomenal!! Awesome sense of humor, great personality ABSOLUTELY LOVED her. We'll be back when we head that way again!Dang I might even bring my husband LOL!!“
“Erica was a great server. She kept a smile on her face the entire time and appropriately checked on us when needed. We were a big party out of nowhere and she did a great job with everything and explaining anything we had questions about! She is a great server and I would come back to have her as my server again!! Thank you Erica.“
