“Great classic styled tavern! Great fast friendly service! Now the food was amazing! Recommend the "Dip" and any build a burger seasoned and cooked to perfection! And the great drinks!!!!! Unfortunately did not get pictures of the meal as of they would even do the food justice!“
“Scio township establishment here. Pizza is pretty good here, great flavors. Overall, not bad, is better than average bar and grill, simple menu featuring American classics and pizzas, but the main attraction here is the bar side. There’s easily 100 different beers/ales/meads here, including drafts and bottles. My 2nd time at The Session Room; I was here last year and they undercooked my salmon. This was a good experience with the pizza tonight!I’ll be back to try salmon again, to see if they can get an edit and extra star from me.Update: 03/08/24 - our server Elexis was very helpful with cider recommendations, and I enjoyed the Starcut Aurora Borealis she suggested I try. I have to add another couple stars, things are improving here!“
“Food was excellent and the service from Juan was even better. Restaurant was a little slow on this Tuesday night so not sure what things are like on a busy weekend. But everything was top notch on this evening. Poutine was an interesting appetizer. Elevated approach to the typical pile of fries and gravy. Lasagna special was awesome and enough for 2 to share.“
“I dined with my 4 year old & two 13 year olds. We all shared two baskets of fries, a Club and a tenders app. Including a beer & Pepsi the total only $50.The real 5 ⭐️ goes to the service staff. I’ve truly never experienced better. My toddler dropped her water glass which shattered under our table. Before I knew what had happened the staff were at our table to help. We stood out of the way where someone helped me dry her pants & replaced her water. The staff cleaned the mess then moped/dried the floor within ~3 min. It was AMAZING. Thank you!!“
“Been here multiple times and enjoyed the food and drinks. It's great that this place is open later than many others and serves food that that is constantly well prepared. Easy parking and access also.Service is good but they are frequently understaffed.“
“I like this place! Our service was great! The food was good, moderately priced, and served in a timely manner. It was not super busy, went on a Wednesday before an event at Hill Auditorium. We got there at 5:30 pm, had a leisurely meal and were done about 7:15 pm.“
“My son’s Spanish class went there today for a field trip. He has severe food allergies and they were so receptive and courteous to his request. I had called to ensure everything was OK as it was one of the first times he was out with a group ordering on his own. Wendy was so helpful and returned my call. I was so appreciative! We then ordered carryout this evening, and it was so delicious! I can’t believe we’ve been missing out on this place for Years! Chips, guacamole, chicken burrito, and soft tacos were amazing! The shredded chicken is very juicy, not dry. My son loves the beef quesadillas!Thank you!Dietary restrictions: Very helpful if you have food allergy, such as peanut, Tree nut, sesame and chickpeas“
“I got takeout here, and they were super quick with my order and it was delicious. I got the chicken and bacon wrap, and it was super flavorful and full. The fries were also very yummy and I would recommend! The pricing is a little high compared to other American restaurants, but the quality of food and serving size makes up for that. Also, surprisingly, have very yummy homemade cookies.“
“Once or maybe twice a year we voyage to Ann Arbor from Boston tk take in our beloved Michigan Wolverines play in the big house and this is our FIRST stop. We love Regents Field. Friday when we arrive and again for NFL Sundays. Food, atmosphere, service, THE BEST cucumber gimlet in the business, all make this a 5 star across the board!!! Chicken Reuben, the wings, the fried pickles, the burgers. All LIGHTS OUT!!!! Thank you Regents Field, we love you!!“
“I am amazed at the service of this black rock! My family (3 adults and 2 toddlers) went on a Wednesday night for dinner. We got the mozzarella moons and most of them, the cheese had run out of them. We weren’t going to say anything but our waitress noticed and had the kitchen make us new ones. Then when our food arrived it was wonderful and delicious. One of my children choked on a fry and ended up vomiting all over. As a mom I was so embarrassed, because I was afraid that they would be annoyed with us or angry. But I was severely mistaken. The first thing the waitress did was rush to get her manager then when the manager came over he wasn’t cross at all he asked if she needed any feather medical attention. They all were so understanding and empathetic towards our situation. As a mother of twins, who can get a bit loud and rowdy we were treated with the utmost respect. Thank you so much to the staff and managers at black rock tonight! ♥️“
