I’ve been to this location several times. I go for the pumpernickel bagels. The bagel’s have been consistently good and the cream cheese is, well, cream cheese. No problem. The service has been pretty good so far. Unfortunately, the coffee I get is never hot and never consistently good. Sometimes its ok but it is always at best warm, never hot. I tried so hard to find a good bagel on a recent trip to UofM, but I am going to need to keep trying. This place opened late, leaving five people standing out in the cold, with staff still arriving 15 minutes after they opened. The staff were not friendly or helpful, or happy to be doing their job it seemed. The place is almost clean, but the cleaning staff must be the same caliber as the counter staff. Just don't have reliable hours as pictured. Plus takeout only is a bit odd and the whole place feels very barebones. Feels like the drive through experience but as a pedestrian. Just not my jam but the main issue is 1) have posted hours and 2) staff those hours. That way when I show up before work I actually know if you're a reliable option.
