“At the owner’s recommendation I had a lamb sandwich, which was delicious—super flavorful and had a nice heat/spiciness to it (which can be hard to find around here sometimes!). The owner is friendly and has an interesting story. Overall fantastic value (the price makes it possible to tip well :) ) I’ll definitely be back and look forward to trying other things on the menu!“
“I grew up in Ann Arbor during the '70s. And while this came along later, my mom was a big fan for years. She took me here to it the first time. It's an Arbor vibe. “This is one of the best South Indian restaurants in the area. Not the place to come to if you’re looking for high end ambiance. But if you’re looking for amazing South Indian food & top notch service I’d highly recommend this place! The quality of service is unmatched in my opinion, the lady in front is one of the most kindest & efficient people I’ve met! She was so helpful, communicated well with us, answered all our questions & was just an absolute pleasure to have a conversation with. The other person working there came around multiple times to make sure the food was up to our expectations, I just feel bad I forgot to ask them their names, I’ll make sure to do that next time, needless to say we will be back! My husband & I both love this place so much that we are willing to drive an hour just to eat their dosas.“

“Great Indian restaurant, and if you haven’t tried Indian food before I highly recommend trying it. We had Tandoori Chicken, Momos and Cardamom Cheesecake. The cheesecake reminded me of “Shreekhand” - which is a traditional Indian dessert popular in the state of Maharashtra. I’m originally from Maharashtra, so when I had the first bite it took me home- so thanks to the Chef!! I really loved this interesting take on cheesecake. Momos were just perfect! Tandoori chicken was well balanced with spices. Overall it was good experience and I’ll definitely go back to try some other dishes.“
“We had an amazing catering experience with them! Amar helped us through the entire order! All of our dishes were very good, Mughlai chicken, Shahi paneer, Biryani etc! They also provided an innovative beverage called pineapple ginger sparkling punch which was a showstopper! Everyone really liked the mini samosa which had a little bit of kick but if your audience likes spicy food, it will be hit! They also provided a beverage dispenser for our event which was so helpful along with chafers and serving spoons! Highly recommend catering from them! ✨“
“By far the best biryani in town. My order is a lamb biryani, hot, and extra gravyish. This place is consistently great and never disappoints! The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The woman who works the front is so kind and takes care of you every time, Thank you! Truly, this place has the best Indian food. The quality is top notch.Dietary restrictions: Meat is halal! :)“
“Aroma: According to Google, Aroma can be defined as 'a distinctive, particularly pleasant smell'. And what a word to describe this restaurant. As a Glushyn, I'm well known for having a distinctly 'Glushy' aroma. So trust me when I say the aroma of aroma is truly top notch. Although the price is a little high at times, I can't recommend the taste of this restaurant's food enough. The samosas and the naan are particularly great for parties/ catering. 5/5 would glush again ? Great for vegetarians too. It can be difficult to cater to my hipster friend who listens to Berkeley music but this place does it all!!!“
“It was our first time eating at Everest Sherpa & we'll definitely be back. The entire experience was amazing. The atmosphere is cozy & inviting. The staff is very friendly & our waitress graciously answered all of our questions about the menu, helping narrow down choices based on our tastes. The food was delicious!!! Everything is homemade & the presentation is wonderful. It's our new favorite place to escape to. I would award more stars if I could.“
