“Got crab legs and a steak and shrimp hibachi delivered. Food came still warm and very tasty! My crab had the garlic butter mild and it was a tiny bit salty for my taste (though still very good) but I don't like a lot of salt so it could be just me.“
“This hibachi restaurant is incredibly delicious! Move over Benihana’s! The soup and salad were excellent; the freshness of the lettuce and the tastiness of the soup hinted at the deliciousness to come.? The service was fantastic, the restaurant was clean, and the chef was engaging. A must-try for hibachi lovers!!!? ?“
“We have eaten here twice now, while picking up our daughter at UMICH. Both times the food was excellent! Also have to give a big shout to our server Cathy, who waited on us for both visits. She was very attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes and made great suggestions for us as we learned the menu. Highly recommend Slurping Turtle!“
“One of the best sushi places in Ann Arbor. Prices are reasonable, the servers are so nice and the quality of the sashimi is good. I order takeout from them often and have never been disappointed. The uni and hamachi in particular are always great. The only thing I wish they’d pay attention to more is their sushi rice. It’s overcooked and can feel dense and gelatinous as a result. It also doesn’t have a good balance between rice vinegar, salt and sugar. I’ll still order often, but if they can nail this very important detail, it would push them to the top of my list for sushi in Ann Arbor“
“Great little sushi spot! Extremely impressed with the quality of the food for the price. $26 bucks for 2 salads and 3 rolls that were filling, delicious, and overall very satisfying. Service was excellent. Waitress was attentive and kind, as were the chefs. I would highly recommend this spot.“
“Consistently good. Lots of great meals to choose from. The bento boxes for lunch are a big favorite, you get lots of food and a wide variety - a nibble of this, a few bits of that. It's fun. We keep coming back, this is my office's #1 choice for lunch.Vegetarian options: Most dishes have seafood or meat, but there are enough vegetarian options and they are delicious.“
“Came here on a chilly night which is why I ended up ordering the dumpling soup. The size of the bowl was alright for an appetizer and it came with two pieces of dumplings. The dumpling itself is fairly large but I was also hoping there would be more than just two dumplings. This is alright for an appetizer but would probably not order this again. I also got the Totoro tower which I enjoyed more than the soup. The tower was pretty filling, super flavorful, and I really like how they plated this dish with the layers of sauces. Came here during Umich's spring break so it wasn't busy and service was quick. Normally it can be pretty busy and we would have to wait 30min-1hour.“
“Sushi was great. I did have a roll with eel which confirmed that I prefer my eel smoked. Other than that, food came quickly, server was friendly, and the prices are fair.Vegetarian options: Definitely vegetarian options to choose fromParking: Small, limited parking“
“Comfy little spot. Wonderful food. Very friendly staff and good sized sushi portions. I visited while in town for the Christmas holiday. I needed to get away from the family for abit (and the high calorie food) so this was a much needed sanity break. Would definitely go back the next time I'm in A2!“
“We've been coming to Sadako since 2004, and it's hands down the best sushi in Michigan. The tuna here is the freshest and best tasting I've had in the states and their rolls are generously sized and inexpensive. It's even worth the hassle of navigating downtown Ann Arbor during move in week like we're doing right now.“
“Ive had both poke and ramen here, and both were great! Ramen really hits the spot on a chilly dayVegetarian options: Tofu available as primary protein. Veggie ramen available.Dietary restrictions: "Build your own" option makes it easy to control and know what you're ordering adheres to what you need“
