Took a chance on this place. Calm atmosphere, friendly staff, clean dining room and bathrooms. Seating is good for 1 - 4 diners, or larger groups too!I got a build your own ramen bowl with pork shoyu, pork belly and most of the fixins. the pickled egg!!! Very surprised at the depth of flavor, awesome awesome. Will be back.
The food is good but I ordered Ramen to go. The sauce is an INTEGRAL part of that dish and you forgot to include it in my bag. I actually helped build and create the outside patio at Umami and was treated to lunch by the owner and I tell you what I thought regular Ramen was really good LOL but Maruchan and Top Ramen don't hold a candle to umami at first I'm like wow $18 that's a little steep until I took my first bite and saw the portion, and an instant I'm like okay I get it now the price definitely correlates with the food on your plates. oh yeah and she let us drink Gatorades and stuff out of the refrigerator...read full review
