The upstairs and downstairs bars are great, the staff are spectacular, and the drinks are reasonably priced with a nice selection. The cover fee for downstairs is kinda steep though & the dance floor is small.
We booked a dinner with friends (party total 7 people) at 7:30 pm but we were there at 5:30 pm; staff was helpful and found us a nice table inside (outside was hot). Restaurant is nice and well furnished. We tried salmon, pasta with gamberi, appetizers like meatballs and fried calamari (sweet chili), steak; a wide range of the menu. A special day. A special night. Couldn't be better. Arranged by our son and daughter. The waiter did everything, except eat our food. The wines were a delight and the steak and salmon were prepared with artistry. He guided us with each entre and the salad was shared by us with dressing aside. Wine, was by the glass and was both red and white and light, semidry and elegant. Our perfect dinner ended the perfect evening. Thank you 220 Merrill for a wonderful 50th.
