“I learned of this place from my niece and my sister. First of all the customer service was excellent. The food was DELICIOUS AND EVERYTHING I EXPECTED! Nice portions, fresh and clean. I had the spicy chorizo and steak taco combo with rice & beans. Although I'm not a rice eater, the rice is everything! The whole meal was well seasoned and freshly prepared. “Mexico City is so successful they have practically outgrown their location...trying to find a parking spot usually involves venturing into the neighborhood behind it and parking on the side streets. I got the big burrito with shredded beef and some kind of soup which I thought was menudo. I was very disappointed that it was not menudo but it was very very good nonetheless. “While in Detroit I found this excellent Mexican restaurant. The service, the decor, the music and the food were all top tier. The chilaquiles with a couple fried eggs and beans with a little cotija cheese were screaming! Very authentic like mom use to make lol. The chicharrones were absolutely fire. “The servers at the coffee counter were cool and helpful and friendly and funny. The servers at the chicken tender counter were apathetic, seemed bored, had skipped over our order when we went back to see what was taking so long, and didn't say a single word to us when we asked about the order.
