“We've lived in the area for over 3 years and always noticed how busy it is. We wanted to see what the fuss was about! Definitely did not disappoint. We now come regularly. The staff is always so friendly and attentive and it's very clean! Food is always delicious! 10/10“
“Just stopped here after months of wanting to do so. I had their small Greek chicken salad! It’s huge! The vegetables all tasted fresh! The chicken was perfect and so was the dressing. These days, the quality at most restaurants (regardless of price range), is at best a 2/5 stars. Apovini is the exception to the rule! I work across the street and will by stopping by here more often! Absolutely amazing salad!“
“National is definitely our go to! I’m laid off and wanted some affordable, yummy breakfast to warm my soul. Today the sausage links were just spot on! I do wish they still had a small Hani and I REALLY wish they could bring back the Hawaiian Chicken Salad (or can you please, please tell me how to get the dressing or make it!?!). Pretty please!? I’d go multiple times a week if you had this again!! Anyways - love the staff. They know me, my kids, and my Jeep - I feel like I’m with friends there. Thanks, team!! PS - loooove that my daughter can get her fave - chicken tenders - at breakfast time!!Dietary restrictions: Definitely accommodates.Parking: Zero issues parking - ever.Kid-friendliness: Amazing option for kids. This is a huge reason as to why we come here.Wheelchair accessibility: Def handicap friendly!“
“Burgers here are great and they offer many unique choices for toppings but also do a plain burger just right. Restaurant was clean and had good seating to view the TVs to watch the game. Sides were great fries and coleslaw was exceptional. Only complaint was even though it wasn’t very busy it took them nearly 50 minutes to get our food out which seems exceptionally long for a burger.VALUE: 8.2/10STAFF: 7.4/10FOOD:9.2/10ATMOSPHERE: 8/10“
“An absolute staple. Renshaw is easily my favorite bar around. Their food is as good as "bar food" gets, and you truly just cannot beat a $2.50 beer. Add pull tabs AND TouchTunes? I'm in heaven. Couldn't recommend this enough. Service has always been above average, even when going with an entire softball team after our games.“
“Found myself in Clawson today at lunch time. Found Woodpile with Google.I ordered the weekday lunch special for $12.95 - one meat, one side and a pop - and got a second side becauseI couldnt decide. Still under $20 with tip.The lady at the counter was very pleasant and possessed an honest sense of humor and wore a smile the whole time. One bite of the brisket, before sauce and without the bun, and I knew I'd be back here. Perfection in three thick slices carefully laid on the bun. Moist, tender, almost falling apart. Then I tried the mac & cheese. Another hit. I wish I could make it half as good. Noodles are perfectly cooked, the sauce is almost decadent in its flavor and delightfully creamy. The coleslaw. Among the best I've ever had. It has actual flavor. Not just some cabbage & dressing, there is thought behind this side. Multiple vegetables with just a hint of cayenne (?) & maybe horseradish. Not hot, just seriously tasty.Even the corn bread, wrapped in foil, was moist, sweet, delicious. The tables built around barrels are cool, as are the "live edge" high tops. There is outdoor seating as well for the non-winter months. They have carry-out as well.Like I said before, I'll be back. Having recently moved from Tampa area, I have to try the Barbe-Cuban sandwich to see how it stacks up.Parking: The off-street parking is only about 8 spaces. Room for about 4 more on the street.Kid-friendliness: One look at the menu and the kids will be happy.Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of room inside, wide entry door is easy to open.“
“There were 3 of us and we all ordered at the same time. I ordered a salad with salmon, the two people I was with had egg plates and were completely done eating by the time my food finally came out. A bit disheartening they then had to wait for me to finish and I rushed to eat. We finished our drinks and were never asked if we wanted another. Either they put our food in wrong or they were short staff but still frustrating. We didn't go until 1PM they were not overly busy.“
“Good family style restaurant, good menu, plenty of menu selections and nice, friendly and fast service. Highly recommended if you like family style dining. The senior specials that come with fries, come loaded with fries. I know some people like fries, but this is just a little too much.“
“The band is quite loud so it’s hard to carry on a conversation. Although definitely come hungry, they serve a very full meal!! A little on the pricy side for me. I’d rather have less food at a lower price. (Dinners come with soup, salad and bread, it’s too much really).“
“This is a cute, local neighborhood pub with great food and wait staff! I find the main dining room could tone down the lights a bit but other than that, it's a great little spot. Didn't get to sit in the front room due to a private party but that looks like the place to be.“
“This is a great place for home cooked meals ribeye steak, chicken pitas, meatloaf, large fresh salads, taziki with pita bread and saganaki! The atmosphere is charming and the service is with a smile. I've been there several times at all dining times and if I had a complaint it was addressed right away. It's a nice place for you and the grandparents ? or even with a close friend. It's quiet so you can enjoy conversation.“
“Great breakfast and wonderful service. We had the coconut French toast and eggs Benedict. Both dishes came to the table nice and hot and oh so good! Even the breakfast potatoes were good! Get there early as it fills up fast. Will definitely be back!“
