“First time visiting since the expanded Dearborn Heights store - my wife had other plans so I chose to break fast on one of my favorites - Sal's. Loved the renovated space and had dining room to myself. Place was crazy busy with carry out for others breaking fast - I watched basketball while I waited for my small personal pizza and 6-piece boneless wings.Wow. Pizza was great and almost forgot how good the wings were. Glad I stopped back in and was cool to sit in a clean dining room. Young lady checked on my twice made sure I was okay - it was perfect. “We came to Ferndale for some bagels, but while parking we smelt the amazing smells of Indian cuisine. We instantly changed our minds and l’m so happy we did. “So I saw this place had good reviews so I decided to try it. I got the cod sandwich with fries and a diet Coke. The cod sandwich was pretty typical cod sandwich, nothing to jump on the table and scream about. The fries had a really good seasoning to them and the Coke came in a can and two squeeze packets of tartar sauce. Mimi the cashier was very nice and steered me in the right direction of the rather confusing menu. The pick two was different on the menu online then it was the menu there. The cod sandwich came with tomato onion and lettuce which were all pleasantly fresh. The dining area was very clean and organized .Overall a very good experience and I will be back. I will say two things that they need to do to make it even better is fry the fish just a little bit longer to give it that extra crisp and make your own in-house tartar sauce. That would send it over the top.“

“03/02/24: Late review, but nonetheless, came looking for something different and decided to try this place on said date. It has some nice decor and is clean. Waitstaff was attentive and checked in occasionally, despite it being peak hours. Dined in around 8pm. I got in quickly since it was just me, but there can be a bit of a wait as there seemed to be a lot of families(a couple of groups of families were waiting), so be ready if you decide to dine in late afternoon/early evening.Food was fantastic. The starter flatbread with the two garlic aioli(?) sauces(normal + spicy) was hot, fresh, and palatable. Got the Fattoush Salad, the Malek Stir-Fry(chicken), and the Chicken Sajji with a strawberry smoothie. All dishes were delicious and full of flavor. The salad was a bit too vinaigrette-ty for my tastes though. The poultry dishes were savory and the Sajji had that right tinge of heat.“
“I got the ribs and they were so tender. They were fall off the bone good. Two other people got the fog legs and loved them. You get a lot for your money. The order was ready right on time even though they were busy. I will be going back soon.“
“The chicken was really delicious. There are a lot of stuffed animals at this place, which is a little odd, but they have a lot of modern decoration elements as well. Lovely grotto patio, wine display, and private event space. Again, the chicken was so well prepared, very flavorful, moist, and a considerable portion.“
“Went for dinner on Saturday night the place was packed we where offered to take the bar we did. We only had drinks (you can eat at the bar) service and drinks where amazing! We decided it would be best to make reservations and come back for dinner. Great place.“

“Great tasting fried fish. They also have a greater variety than similar type of restaurants I have visited. I particularly recommend the Orange Roughy. Prices are higher than similar type restaurants, but not significantly. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the fried shrimp. They are huge, cooked to perfection and taste great!“

“Food was great! I called ahead for a large order for my daughter birthday, everything was hot and fresh and the staff working was very pleasant, they made sure I had enough and ensured that I had my whole order. As far as the store it's in , you can stick up on stuff you made need while you're out. Randomly inside a liquor store. Everyone at the pet loves the chicken and the red beans and rice with off the chain. Only downside was that they ran out of biscuits:( still giving a 5 star, so good they ran out.“
“We just moved to the area and we have been slowly sampling food around the area. This might be our favorite so far! The service was kind, knowledgeable, and made my husband feel welcome when he went in to get our food.When we got home we eagerly dug into chicken florentine and spaghetti with Italian sausage. They were both delicious and tasted so fresh! The breadsticks were warm and buttery and the dressing for our salad was phenomenal! Thank you for the welcome to the neighborhood!“

“Today was my first time here. I had the prime rib dinner. The prime rib wasn't really my cup of tea. But the other person with me loved it! You pretty much get like 3 sides with it. The prime rib is hugeeee. My side pasta was really good. Oh and the bread sticks! I did NOT need these in my life hahaha. ADDICTING!I was shocked at how cheap our meal was. $42 for two people seems pretty fair to me with all the food we got! I'll be back for sure!“

“YES. LORD. It's a Thursday and I feel like I've had a Sunday meal. We googled this place (we are visiting from Kentucky) and the reviews were great so we pulled up! The food, seasonings, all that was on POINT. Truly. Real potatoes. The gravy on the smothered porkchops was... top notch. The porkchops themselves were so tender. The fried catfish, perfectly seasoned. It was great! The peach cobbler is a sin... like it's so good. The banana pudding is... so good. Just overall great! So refreshing to find something great! The atmosphere was 4 stars onlyyy because one of the tables were broken when we sat in to eat and about fell. Which has nothing to do with the food. Go there ANYWAY. 5 stars. Amen!“

It was really small for $24. Next time I’ll add an extra one.Everyone that works there wears crocs and they are really young. They give you a bib and gloves which ours initially had someone’s weave in it. We had to send our silverware back. It’s definitely a great spot to take a large group of people to. It was close to closing and he told me that they don't take orders over the phone after 8:30 but he went inside grab the pen and paper and came out to the car and took my order. I called to check to see if it was done, he knew it was me and brought it out to my car. I was so appreciative of the service and ask them is named and come to find out it was Fred; the owner himself. I told him I would definitely be back just off the customer service. The cook his self pretty much watched me grow up & now I get to share my favorite diner & cook with my 2 year old. ? The oil is obviously changed frequently because the batter was light in color and fluffy. The quality of the shrimp was everything you would want in a fresh catch. Plus, there was enough shrimp and fries to airfry the next day. Under $20!! You really need to check out the vast menu. p.s. There is no diner area.“
