Truly an original Italian sub. One of the best I’ve had in metro Detroit. Super fast service and great old school atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place for a great sandwich.
You will enjoy ANY sandwich you order at this place. It’s the true O.G. (Original Gonella’s) and they are ALL good. I work nearby and have been going here for years. I’m almost done with my goal of trying every sandwich they make and so far the chicken salad, tuna salad, and the grilled steak and cheese are a close 2nd behind my “go to” which is the classic “6 & 2 on a soft roll”. Excellent Italian sub and customer service. The workers are soooo polite and helpful and the food quality is top notch. Not super cheap, but a phenomenal option when compared to other places in the area. I have never been disappointed with this establishment after 4+ years living nearby.
