It is dreadful that this institution of scrumptiousness will soon be closing. Hopefully they will try and make a start somewhere near. Thank you for the many, many years of great foot and great service.
Russell's street deli. Reuben sandwich yummy, is what you expect. The steak and egg scrambler nice idea. The taste of Detroit style New England clam chowder, I didnt not like, it was heavy on Fresh Dill, spicy finish and a feel of home made soup. I'll need to go back and sample the New York style again. Only slight criticism little over priced. I will go back..

It's closed, but it was great while it lasted. Known to many for it's breakfast at community tables and deli sandwiches at lunch, their biggest product eventually became their line of soups, which are now distributed at major regional retailers and still made here in Detroit
