Xochimilco is one of the most popular Mexican restaurants in the area. Since my very first visit over 12 years ago, things have certainly changed.The vibe of the restaurant is moody and dim, but not in a good way. I like the architecture of the building and have always liked the interior, but I think the dim lighting takes away from that, especially on the main floor. Always the best & authentic. Have been coming here since i was in college at Wayne State. It was a classic then and still today. All the best things together: amazing tasting food that comes out quicker than you can even finish the chips and salsa, amazing sangaria and omg the cheese! Also tonight tried the cheese quesadilla with guacamole. More than on point. I drive over an hour to come here as much as i can. Love love love it!
