“Way better than the Grosse Pointe location. I wish that they didn't have the same name. Madison Heights & this location (Roseville/Eastpoint) have the best tasting food & chefs that know how to cook. Service is good. Atmosphere would be better if I didn't see an old blonde lady with ripped up jeans walking around all night. She gave the restaurant a low class look.“
“Jason is amazing! Every time I come he greets me with a smile and always had fresh stuff ready to go! Customer service is a 12/10 he will chat up a whole convo if it’s not busy, very friendly! The food is also stellar and he takes pride in his product and stands by it. If something is not satisfactory he will make it right. With inflation and rising prices everywhere. Jason’s prices are still reasonable for a delicious product. If you haven’t met the new “pizza guy” in buscemis gratiot and topher you need to go meet him and try his food you won’t regret it! ❤️ ?????“
“This Jets actually sells the $5 lunch special. Tge Jets on Greater Mack and Vernior, in Groose Pointe Woods, sells them for $6. I asked why? They told me because they were directly across the street from a school. Wow! So, raise the prices for the kids. Great place.“
“everyone was friendly and courteous, got to watch them making the pizza and have some nice conversation and the pizza was pretty good overall. pepperoni was a little over cooked but the crust made up for it, toppings were generous. their drink selection is pretty limited so plan accordingly.I'd definitely come here again“
“Went here for dinner on a Thursday evening, food was very good for a reasonable price. Service was slow but that was do to their lack of help. I do not like the new way of tipping where you are forced to tip their given tip amounts by choosing from multiple choice options. My overall experience was good even with their lack of help my server was a good server.Parking: Parking on street in front and in parking lot.“
“It's an amazing place with top-notch food. Located in Cork Town on Michigan Ave, amongst an area that has seen tremendous revitalization. Well worth the trip and an excellent lunch or dinner option for those who visit Detroit for any event.“
“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!“
“Spring break road trip from Chicago. Naturally had to swing through and check off Detroit style pizza from my pizza bucket list and what better place to do that then Buddy's (the original). Not disappointed in the least. From the fast friendly service to the atmosphere having the feeling we were sitting in a place of pizza royalty. To the star of the show the PIZZA. It did not let anyone in my family down. I am so glad I did my research and came to Buddy's. It was an unanimous decision if we find ourselves in the area again we will definitely be coming back!“
“The chef's tasting menu is where it's at. There are some staples we look forward to but there's always delicious surprises too.Vegetarian options: I've only ever done the chef's menu which is selected for you. It means things come that are off the menu which adds more variety than what's listed.“
“Great selection on NY style pizza, pizza and delicious appetizers. We built our own halal pepperoni pizza and had bruschetta. They offer halal pepperoni and halal chicken. Bruschetta was delicious but pizza was a bit too greasy but the taste was really good. Our waiter was really nice and tried hard to cheer us up after a long weekday.“
“Absolutely amazing! We had the chefs choice 6 course meal with the wine pairing plus dessert and espresso. The staff was great from the moment we entered. Our Sommelier was knowledgeable about every wine and described everything perfectly plus answered every question we had. Our waitress was funny and super personable and made the meal enjoyable.“
“We have been coming here for I do not know how long. Took a couple of first timers there for lunch and then they could not stop raving about it. Got the antipasto salad, so good. Couple of pizzas, cooked perfect and the right amount of sauce not like the sauce stingy competition. And the cheese is endless, do not go there if you are lactose intolerant, you may be in trouble. Go check this place out.“
“First time dining at Cork and Gabel for a date night and it was an amazing experience that made us feel like we were the only ones there in the middle of a packed restaurant. We loved the decor/design and menu - and our experience chatting with the staff member, Rick. We got to order a custom drink and had the bartender personally bring it to me. It was all so delicious. Thank you so much for the hospitality and kindness, as well as for our cool waiter, Alex. Can't wait to check it out again.“
“Great Italian market with fresh cooked foods and amazing subs. They have all the goodies from pasta to sauce to olives. I love their subs on hard rolls and need to try some of their fresh Italian classics. Service was great…think of small market with a deli inside making fresh food daily.“
“We celebrated our daughter’s birthday with a fabulous dinner and dessert. Our server Ashley was great! Her recommendations were excellent. We started with sheep’s milk ricotta and hot honey and tuna crudo. Our entrees were tortellini di zucchini, squid ink fettuccine and swordfish vesuvio. The Sicilian pistachio cake with olive oil gelato was a perfect ending to an amazing meal. Our daughter travels for business and has eaten at top restaurants around the country. She said she would put this in her top five!“
“Food was phenomenal, drinks were great, service was even better! You can tell their ingredients are fresh and their dough is homemade. We were too busy enjoying the food to remember to take photos so this is all we got. Will definitely come back again!“
“Last night was my third trip to Saltimbocca . Truly not a disappointment !!! The group shared the Lobster Ravioli and the Entrees included Veal a la Crema and the Stuffed Chicken. Everything was awesome !! Service was exceptional !! Can't wait to back again . Great atmosphere !!“
“We had heard great things about Luigi’s and finally decided to try it out! Unfortunately, we didn’t realize that they require reservations (our fault for not checking the website beforehand), so we had to come back a second time! We had a 6pm reservation on a Friday night and were seated immediately. We were seated in the very back room that only had 3 or 4 tables. There was no music playing so the atmosphere was very quiet and a little awkward. I ordered Luigi’s Whitefish with pasta on the side. It was delicious! Overall the experience was good, although a little expensive. For the price I would prefer a better atmosphere, but I did enjoy the food.“
“Alpino really showed out for the brunch soft opening. I truly enjoyed myself. The starting dishes were 2 pastry savory dishes. The squash crostata was absolutely amazing it was flaky and lite. Sorta like a warm quiche packed with savory veggies. The other was a scallop potatoes in a puff pastry that was freaking phenomenal. Then I had the German traditional breakfast which consisted of fresh baked rye bread, alp blossom cheese, a chilled soft boiled egg, speck prosciutto, apple butter ands apple jam. The other items ordered were the Colin’s Alpino Burger and the Rosti Benedict. Not only was the food amazing but the drinks were incredible also. The Nova Spritz is a amazing gin forward spritz that’s very refreshing. I highly recommend you check out Alpino on Sunday mornings. Brunch ends at 3pm. Go check them out“
“We strongly recommend you try Buddy's Pizza if you haven't had the chance yet. Especially, the gluten-free Pizza crust so soft and yummy! We received prompt and friendly service from beginning to the end of our dinning experience. Martez, our server was a blast and a huge part of our fantastic time there. John from the kitchen helped us out with making formative decisions to meet my childs' dietary health needs. We were a party of 9 but treated like a party of 2 with the efficient, quick and fabulous service. Now if you can open a location in Toronto, Canada tgat would be greatly appreciated. We have a huge community that us missing out on your service and that Amazing gluten-free pizza crust. People are missing out.“
“Exceptional Itilian dining. I am a fan of the Da Eduardo restraunts. Each one has some unique items you do not get at the others. Highly recommend.Parking: If lucky enough to get street parking, good for you. If not, private lot rates are between $10 and $100, depending on what is going on. If there is an event in the area, you will be gouged.“
“Excellent cute, unique place! Outstanding service and amazing food. Great menu and definitely well executed. We loved everything about the decor and the vibe! It makes you feel like you're on vacation.... either in Miami, California or even a cruise! The drink menu is unique and satisfies all sorts of different tastes. I loved the 59’ BIARRITZ ON SUNSET. If you like a little bit of a stronger drink, the MOTOWN BEETS is worth trying too!The Beef Tartare was delicious. As well as the Huge MF short rib, the Rigatoni Ragout, and the Margherita Pizza. They were all PERFECT in their own category. There were no leftovers in our party of 4... nothing to even clean off the plates. The Toasted Pistachio Caffe Latte was excellent! Also, their deserts are to die for. We had the Detroit Chocolate Cake and the Warm Apple Crostata, and even though they're big enough to share, we really didn't want to. Sorry, not sorry. LolOur waitress Carrie was OUTSTANDING! HATS OFF to her!We will definitely be back!Parking: There's plenty of paid street parking at a very decent hourly rate. If not, valet is also an option.“
“If you're looking for authentic delicious Middle Eastern cuisine this little neighborhood spot has you covered! I love that it's family-owned and they take pride in their food. The food tastes great, has nice portions, and is reasonably priced! They are also from the neighborhood and they value their customers:) As a bonus it is always a nice feeling to support local family businesses. Enjoy!“
“Got the spinach feta tomato omelet with hash browns to go. The food was amazing and look how nicely they packed it!! They even put parchment paper between the food and the toast so the toast wouldn't get soggy. The food was even perfectly symmetrical see photo lol place is a little hidden breakfast gem.“
“Appetizer and dinner for one = $79 incl. 15% tip. Not sure the food was as "amazing" as I was told by a coworker. I had the stuffed pork chop. Certainly big enough, but the seasoning was not what I'd hoped. I tend to like savory foods, so...The atmosphere was nice, though the proximity of the other tables made it difficult to ignore the unhappily-married couples bickering after one too many drinks. My server was spectacular, definitely the highlight of the experience: courteous, knowledgeable and professional.“
“We went for my father in law's 92nd birthday celebration. We often have our family events at Tony's. We have been going there for almost 45 years! It has been wonderful to see the little kids who were often at their Mom's side to grow up and be running the family business and they remember who you are when walking in the door!Parking: Plenty of places to park, continue around the building to find more spots!Kid-friendliness: They treat the kids with so much love.Wheelchair accessibility: We are not wheelchair bound but walkers are easily accessible, I can't see any reason at all that anyone in a wheelchair couldn't navigate into and around the restaurant.“
“From appetizers to entrees, everything is amazing. The hospitality is top notch. The owner always makes it a point to ask how the food wad and just shows how much love goes into everything. Absolutely recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Parking: Google maps will send you to a one-way exit only "road" to their front door. You can choose to ignore it and enter, park as close as possible w/o entering and walk, or drive around the entire building to properly enter the one-way exit only roadWheelchair accessibility: There are a couple of handicap parking spaces but their door is not automatic so anyone confined to a wheelchair will need assistance to enter into the establishment.“
“My husband and I decided to try this place due to the name. Our son’s name is Theo, so we thought it would be fun - and we were right! Not only is their space clean, but their service is top notch. Very quick, friendly, well-priced, and delicious! We will absolutely be returning.“
“Loved the food, great customer service (both on phone and on-site. This is a great addition to our Detroit Metro Casual " Foodie" Experience! Very generous portions ~ the pricing definitely reflects the quality/portions. You might even have some leftovers!“
“Our server Brandon was amazing! He was attentive, friendly, and very professional! The food was excellent! The owner Mike came to our table and introduced himself, which was a very nice and personal touch added to the entire experience! Brandon and Andiamo made my birthday very special!“
“Went to Gaudino’s for the first time this week and absolutely loved it! The restaurant is super cute and I love that it has like a little shop and food counter in it too - so unique! The food was amazing! The table shared some sausage and peppers, I had rigatoni with pomodoro, my mom and grandma had the Porcellino, and my papa had the Campagna. Everyone loved their food! And as good as mine was, I can’t stop thinking about the Campagna that my papa shared with me - the braised short rib in it was so tender! Another thing I really loved was that the food was piping hot when it came! The restaurant is a bit far from me, but I’ll definitely want to go back soon because it was so yummy!“
“Maine street is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The service was great and the owners were very welcoming. The food was also amazing. I highly recommend trying their corned beef sandwich, as well as their deep fried cheesecake. Overall the experience and atmosphere was superb and I highly recommend.“
“This is the second time our family has had the pleasure of eating at Sajo’s for repass and memorial dinners…the food and waitresses were absolutely phenomenal! A special shout out to Theresa, Esther and the other waitresses whose names I forgot. These ladies went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of!“
“Absolutely DELICIOUS pizza. It was hot, LOADED, when I say loaded, I mean loaded with toppings and cheese. It was baked to perfection. I've had their pizza twice and each time, I was more than impressed. Their customer service skills is above and beyond most places. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this pizza place. Best around in my opinion!“
“Stopped in for brunch after the parade today and was amazed. The food was sooooo good. It felt like I was on a mini vacation with all of the greenery and comfy seating. I’ll be back for dinner this week! On a side note, there was a great room for private parties!“
“This past Friday my aunt took me to Bucci for the first time. It opens at 5pm, when I first walked in I was so excited because of the service. We walked in and the staff greeted us and was soooo nice. Lights dim, elegant vibe. We sat at the bar because we didn't have reservations, they were more than happy to seat us. I love the open kitchen, we sat and watched the chef and the kitchen staff do their thing and I loved every minute of it. I felt like I was on a cooking show, watching the orders come in and fresh food come out, the chef yells out the order and everyone starts prepping. The food......... I had the artichoke soup to start, I didn't know what to expect but it was delicious. For entrée I had the lobster risotto which was one of the specials that night. Omg must have. Fresh lobster, risotto was creamy and flavorful. My aunt had the chicken parmesan, she absolutely loved it. I think coming back and sitting at the bar will be my go to. Thank you for an amazing first experience. I will definitely be back to try some different dishes.“
“We order almost every week. The pizzas are great whether round or square. The toppings are plenty and they have old world style"cup" pepperonis, which are our favorite. The subs have lots of meat and cheese and wings are tasty, also. I highly recommend this establishment.“
“Parking: Very good food I ordered a lobster Mac and cheese and the lobster was cooked very good not to salty like most places, also a waiter name Matthew is a very funny guy and also respectful he even boxed our food for us, I recommend this place for sure I’ll be back.“
“The Bistecca alla Fiorentina at DaEdoardo’s Restaurant is a true culinary masterpiece. This 44oz Creekstone Farms Prime Porterhouse is accompanied by a generous selection of salad, soup, pasta, potatoes, and vegetables - enough to feed a family of four. The chef expertly seasons and sears the steak to perfection, creating a mouthwatering experience. My 10-year-old son and I shared this delectable feast cooked to a medium-rare perfection, and it truly stands out as one of the best steaks we've ever had. Both the strip side and the filet side offer exceptional flavors. The chef thoughtfully slices the bone for sharing, leaving us with plenty leftover for a delightful second meal. I highly recommend this exceptional entree, available only on Fridays and Saturdays.“
“We have been to Pepperoni's twice now. The first time we went on a Saturday night and had a wonderful experience. The second time we went on a Wednesday and took advantage of their pasta special. Both nights the food was amazing and the service was top notch. The bartender, Sarah, gives some of the best service around. She remembered our names first thing and always makes sure we are taken care of. This will be a regular spot for us from here out.“
“We’ve been a few times and always enjoy it. The restaurant itself is lovely inside… the services was fairly good, (though our waitress went from overly attentive to absent). The food is delicious though the portions seem awfully small for the price compared to what you get elsewhere. If you’re really hungry, you can always fill up on the bread basket as it’s delicious!Parking: Easy to park. Free. Lots of space.“
“We love this place! My favorite entrees that I always go back to are the lasagna and the gnocchi, BUT the minestrone soup is the BEST I have ever had!!! Most places I will choose salad over soup, but never here - you MUST get the soup, lol.“
“This place has a "wow" factor for it food. They're menu lists a lot of made-from-scratch dishes. They claim their Mac and Cheese is the best around. Ha! I was skeptical at best, but they are having a special where if you order two entries for a total of twenty bucks, you get a crock free. So, what the heck! Oh. My. Gosh. They are RIGHT!!! We've had a lot of M&C and this, by far was the best!! They use heavy cream plus different cheeses and the result is *Heaven in a Crock." I'm not kidding. I was assured that every crock is made fresh, individually, and from scratch! It was amazing. So many of their dishes are so delish. My husband loved his kielbasa and kraut. He's also tried their shrimp and sausage stir fry and fish and chips - all were wonderful. I've had the fish and chips as well and their spaghetti with marinara sauce and, again, both were excellent.I'm taking away one star because their chicken picatta was very dry. And, although very tasty, I found three bones in their chicken tortilla soup. But I won't hold that against them! I'll be back!“
“We're new to the are and Licavolis continues to be one of our favorite spots to grab a bite to eat. The shop itself is awesome with all kinds of Michigan made products and great snacks. The pizza, subs and calazones are my personal favorites here. Enjoyed the salad and cheese bread this time ad well. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a different pizza than the usual chain spots.“
“Charming. An old school Italian restaurant in a charming part of Grosse Pointe Park. A family friendly restaurant without being adult unfriendly ?. I went with a classic lasagna and it tasted like I was a “made man” in the Corleone family or something. Heaven! Atmosphere was classy without being stuffy. Midweek dinner and not much of a crowd so we were seated right away. I think my favorite part was tomato sauce that was used in the lasagna.“
“the server was very kind and the food was amazing :)i got fried mozzarella sticks and a make your own pasta (spaghetti, meat sauce, and meatballs) (this came with a side of soup)everything was absolutely incredible and i will be recommendingDietary restrictions: my mom had gluten free pasta!“
