“Quite a delicious, great vibing restaurant. Do, yourself a favor and put Cork on Saginaw on your must visit list! We call our selves the "Feasting Four", we dine around metro Detroit rating as we go. Through a catered event we learned about Cork and decided to venture north to try it out. And we strongly encourage you to do the same. First impression is a Cork is an old building turned into a modern/eclectic restaurant where you instantly feel welcomed. The service was on point, friendly and attentive - Kat was awesome! The owner was on site to ensure we were well taken care of and talk about her food (something that most owners don't do, we loved it). The food. O, the food! The appetizers, salads, entrees and dessert were all delicious. Not huge portions but plenty enough we walked away full. Cork turned out to be one of our highest graded restaurants thus far based on food, service & vibe. We look forward to another return.“
“They must be under new management based on all I've read cus I loved the catfish, the chicken wings. My baby loved the fries. Coleslaw and corn bread were ok. Maybe cus I've had them sweeter. This was not as sweet but probably better for you. The tangy BBQ sauce is perfect and u used that for fries. Mashed potatoes are ok. Overall, I've only ordered and had it delivered but can't wait to e a t here in person. Loved what I ate“
“A nice dive bar on the edge of Grand Blanc and Flint. Drinks were cheap and delicious. Multiple pool tables and dart boards. Bathrooms needed some work, but didn’t diminish from our time there. Our server was friendly, attentive, and timely.“
“This place is a hidden gem! Food was delicious and fresh. The staff was incredibly kind, and helpful. It was our first time and we’re very impressed. Our young kids devoured the fries, and loved the diner feel. So happy we decided to give this place a try!“
“I took my daughter to the Bistro for our daddy daughter dance. We were greeted by the owner and staff upon entering. Everyone was very complimentary and courteous. I ordered the crispy chicken salad and it was amazing. Everything was fresh and crisp. My daughter had the pancakes and bacon and enjoyed every bite! We will be back again for sure!“
“Angie, the bartender is an absolute gem! Not only does she have an extensive knowledge of cocktails, but her warm and welcoming personality adds an extra layer!! It's evident she takes pride in her work!!!! She's the secret ingredient that makes this place truly special!“
“?? **Savy Sliders: A Gem on Ballenger Hwy in Flint, Michigan** ??I recently had the pleasure of dining at Savy Sliders, and let me tell you, it was an experience worth raving about! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendliest and most polite staff I've encountered in Flint. Their warm demeanor made me feel incredibly comfortable, which is a rare find in this area. Now, let's talk about cleanliness—Savy Sliders sets the bar high! The restaurant itself was spotlessly clean, which immediately boosted my confidence in the hygiene standards of the kitchen. It's refreshing to see such attention to detail in a fast-food establishment. But let's get to the star of the show—the food! I tried their Boomin Chicken Slider, and wow, was it a flavor explosion! The combination of the tender chicken patty and the spicy Boomin sauce was absolutely divine. I can confidently say it's one of the best fast-food sandwiches I've ever had. The perfect balance of heat and flavor left me craving more. Not only was the food delicious, but the portion sizes were generous, ensuring that I left fully satisfied. The affordability of the menu items also impressed me, making it a great option for a quick and tasty meal without breaking the bank.I can't wait to return to Savy Sliders and explore more of their menu offerings. With such fantastic food, impeccable cleanliness, and outstanding service, it's no wonder I'll be a returning customer. If you're in Flint, do yourself a favor and pay Savy Sliders a visit—you won't regret it! ??[Attached: Pictures of the mouth-watering Boomin Chicken Slider and the inviting ambiance of Savy Sliders.]“
“Stopped by this spot while I was in town and had an awesome night! Food tasted great and was really good. Met some locals and chatted as we enjoyed some drinks and the vibe. The bar has a little stage for live music, but I wasn’t able to catch any while I was there. Ask for Andy to make you a cocktail and he’ll whip you up something real nice and tasty that’s not on their menu. This is a true gem in the town“
“I won't ever return there again. the waitresses are so rude and make you feel like you are not even wanted there. The other people walking out at the same time we were, said they wouldn't be back either. Made me feel better because I thought it was just my family that was unwelcome. The food is good, but not good enough to where I want to feel bad for spending my money there plus we always tip decent.“
“My daughter wanted a burger, but we are a burger-snob family. I called a friend who suggested Churchill’s as the best around. He wasn’t kidding. Churchill’s is our new burger joint, hands down. It’s not even a contest. Service was outstanding, the employees were friendly and cared for us well. What a fantastic experience, and the burgers are outstanding. Oh, and their fries are twice-fried awesome!“
“Hear me out, this is the best breakfast joint in the city. The steak and eggs flashed me right back to 1995 when my dad would cook it for us. Legit you can taste that they put love into the food. Then on top of it you get great service, always asking if I want to take a soda home or coffee with me. It is truly a family feeling, good vibes, delicious food, and affordable!! I appreciate everything y’all do. PS I’d sell my soul for the biscuits and gravy“
“Easily the Chick-fil-A of the Burger World!Vegetarian options: They have saladsParking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: It's Culver's it's the Chick-fil-A of the Burger World they're polite and friendly to everyone.Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious parking in wheelchair accessible entrance“
“Small space, but the 30 and up age restriction makes it the right size for a good time. I personally enjoyed the 2 pool tables that had constant action. I'll be back for sure. I didn't get to try the food but was pretty tempted to try their tacos.“
“Best gryo platter I ever had. The meat was fresh, tender and flavorful as well as the sauce. Pita bread was hot, soft n good, 5 stars for that meal, my go to place next time I want a gryo. There was enough on the plate for two large sandwiches, took a lot home. The rice was nicely flavored, hot and fresh. The wifes hot turkey sandwich was another story, looked good, plenty of white meat but the flavor just wasn't there and the potatoes tasted like instant ones, won't be ordering that again. She also said the ranch dressing that was on her salad wasn't that great either. The salad and toppings were nice n fresh though. The tomato soup, German I believe, was very good as well, hot, homemade and thick. Will be returning.“
“The food is good. Cooked to perfection. Never overcooked or burnt. Love the cleanliness of my food which is very important. The prices are fair. The service is nice too.Dietary restrictions: I can’t eat beef or porkKid-friendliness: Always have to get my grandson his pancakes and sausage.“
“We ordered burgers, a salad, a gyro, fries, chili cheese fries, and deep fried pickles. The owner happened to be there and treated the kids to shakes too--everything was was delicious and huge portions. Prices were reasonable too. We live a couple hours away, but will definitely go again when in the area.“
“Flew in from Philly for one night picking up a truck. Saw Scooters among other places on maps. Rep from Monroe Truck Equipment told me Scooters was the place to go. This is one of friendliest places I’ve ever been. I really recommend to any visitors. Food was great “
“The girls took care of us. There was only one bartender and she ran the bar and the floor. Then she left and another girl came in and she ran the bar and the floor all by herself with approximately 30 to 40 people in there. Great service thank you The retirement party on Friday night 3/01/24 4:00 pm.“
“The Eberson has a new theme and name, Pop Rox - a theme of adult candy drinks (actually tasty drinks) and DJ music, definitely a place designed as the only college bar in the city. It is no longer a barcade so no games, just music and eccentric decor. There is a lot of empty space so would either add more seating or some type of filler. Most the other bars downtown are more dark, hole in the wall type places or designed for fancy older people to drink wine, Pop Rox is a refreshing upbeat youthful additive to the Flint night life. It would be a nice youthful end cap after enjoying down town attractions. Perfect location where you can walk to most of downtown area and right next to the Capital Theater, so enjoy a performance then a drink afterwards. First time visiting since the change over in theme and name, don't like how they still use the old reviews and photos, it is far too different now to make them relevent or even accurate. Recommend deleting The Eberson Google Maps account and creating a new Pop Rox account otherwise many customers will be confused by the photos, videos, and reviews. There is not a lot of group seating so a larger group will find it difficult to sit together, seems it is more for dating or a few friends to hang. Also recommend adding more seating on the second floor, there is just a large open space not really designed for standing but no place to sit either. Maybe a pool table or something could fit, give drinkers something to do, maybe a Dance Dance Revolution game. The concern is with all the other options downtown for drinking and eating, the main blood flow for this bar staying alive are the young college students which the campuses may not fully recover in attendance due to Covid for several more years. I recommend marketing like crazy to the students and posting around the UoM, MSU, Kettering, and Mott campuses, especially the local dorms. Would also build up Instagram, Tik Tik, and Facebook posts, even offer a discount or free samplers to those who post while there to build up the marketing online quickly.“
“We have been coming here since buying our house in 2021. The only thing I have ordered from there that I wasn’t crazy about was the biscuit and gravy. But other than that, everything else has been great! The prices are not bad at all, and the waitresses are all very friendly and stop by several times to make sure you don’t need anything.“
“The restaurant is clean and steady busy. I use to work there when it was Atlas Coney Island . . .so let me tell you the decorations and the remodeling was superb. . . The booths around the outside windows set up off the floor a step so it makes it seem cozy. Staff is prompt and management is family so they only want the best for doms. I've seen the owner there 2 out of the three times I've been there, he is very active with the front and the back of the house. Young but we'll on his way to a respectable restaurant that I hope he will have for many years. Food is great. . . No matter what you eat. . .it's made with alot of care and looks good and consistent. Prices are great no matter what your budget is. . .“
“Stopped in between dropping my son at the airport at 7 a.m. and visiting the outlet mall in Birch Run which doesn't open until 10.It's Bob Evans. Unless you've never been, you know what to expect: hearty, fill-the-belly breakfasts and not too fancy lunches & dinners. Food reminiscent of what grandma made (or you wish she did).Calories are listed for everything and I'm thankful for that. It's amazing how many Americans consume to start our days but at least these are better balanced than a donut & coffee. The folks here are polite and quick and check up on you just the right amount.Personally, I could do without the country music at 7 a.m. (or any other time of day) but at least it's at a low volume. It feeds the theme and keeps the marketing people happy, I suspect.Vegetarian options: The amount of choices you have depend on how restrictive your diet isParking: Plenty of itKid-friendliness: If your kids aren't happy eating here, they need helpWheelchair accessibility: Lots of room to roll and plenty of space at tables and booths.“
“Great family atmosphere while dining in. The omlettes are wonderful. I ordered the marinated chicken breast for take-out and it was VERY moist. I wish I hadn't overlooked this place for the last 5 years I have lived in the area!! A restaurant that seems genuinely happy to serve you.“
