“We attended an outdoor class here with the Crafty Michigander. Had a lot of fun! They don't take cards here, so if you don't have cash, you'll be dry. Also don't use the women's bathroom if you are claustrophobic!”
“For a greasy spoon place, the food is fresh and has a great taste. The staff seems to take pride in the way the food comes out. We stop for lunch a lot during the week. The fish is good but the last time I went to get some the closing shift cook gave me less fish than normal or smaller filets and way too many fries. But overall that's the only time ever had any type of complaint.”
“Love this place! You’re treated like a regular the moment you walk through the door. The only seating is at the wrap-around bar, so it feels kind of communal with the other tavern goers. Strong drinks and decent prices, a really friendly staff and laid back atmosphere. If you like dive bars, this place is for you. Try the chili dog and warm pork rinds.”
“Very good food as well as customer service. If your looking for a quiet and relaxing meal to enjoy with your family then Parkside Pizza And Subs is the place to be.!”
“Amazing food and people I caught their name if I remember correctly Jesse and trace. Always having smiles on there faces being so kind. They deserve everything and everything was made perfectly!!! 10/10 recommend. I was there a while ago. I haven’t seen them since. Sadly each time I am there I don’t see them anymore”
“The staff at around 6PM on March 3rd 2024 was amazing with their patience and willingness to help when I, a Doordash driver, had to deal with a Doordash glitch followed by a Doordash support worker who was demanding they make an order that did not exist in their system.I appreciate the young lady with the braid for taking things so well.”
“Walked up and got our name on the list for brunch. They took our number and said they'd text when the table was ready. Estimated 30-minute wait, actual 40. We took the opportunity to look up the menu and reviews while waiting. Once seated, we were able to order immediately. The coffee was brought out in an insulated carafe for wxtra pours, with a side of cream. The gal who helped us also brought 2 forks out so we could share the roll. It had a fabulous crunchy outer, yet tender inside and smothered in a tangy-sweet cream cheese frosting. Next came the mains. Mine could have used some kick, but there was hot sauce available &, I suppose, it's easier to add more heat than it is to take it away. The eggs were perfectly poached & I loved the naked option. Bonus for letting me swap out potatoes for the fruit. After reading how great they were, I did expect some sort of twist, but there isn't one. Yes, they were good, just normal. I stole a few bites of bacon & it was fabulous. I'd guess they bake it to render it and get it crispy without burning it. The hubs said the chorizo hash was great. I wouldn't know cuz he didn't share! All in all, I feel like it was a great value.”
“Stopped in to try the St. Patrick's Day menu. Went with the burger with the corned beef added onto it. (Sorry, I can't recall the name of it!) In a word - awesome!! And the mint mousse dessert "for two" was big enough for, at least, three! Also incredible!! Service was amazing, too, from the bartender! Loved everything about it!!”
“This local gem is like if five guys had swagger. The mushroom Swiss burger with truffle aioli is terrific and the people who work there are cool. If you are looking for lunch near downtown muskegon you want to go ”
“This place had amazing food! I had the best reuben sandwich ever! The waiters were very kind and friendly! It was like a vintage saloon interior with lots of pig photos hence the Turk Inn!!”
“The staff always rock this place. Great food, great service, lovely, clean interior. I've ordered in and taken out. Gluten free tamari. I drool just thinking about it lol.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and they are sweet and careful about it. This crew always makes me so happy, nom.”
“Got to say, I was a bit disappointed. The biscuits were amazing. But I ordered the filet and was not impressed. Not a very good cut (lots of fat) and I ordered it medium and it was practically raw (and I love a little pink). My husband’s strip was good and the fries are not to be missed. For close to $200 total bill, it was a bit underwhelming. Better options in holland or grand haven. Cool atmosphere, good wine selection and great location, but need to do better to justify the price.I appreciate the quick and personal response. We will try again when we visit next month and look forward to updating!Parking: Easy parking all around the building, but this is April. I am sure in summer it is a little harder to come by.”
“First time at East End and it won’t be the last! Such a cute and inviting place. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I even think I found my new favorite drink! White chocolate, lavender latte!”
“The food is creative but not pretentious, especially the vegetarian options. The staff is super friendly and patient, but also gives you space. The vibes are *impeccable*. New favorite place!Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options. They feel like thoughtful dishes, not "what if we just take out the meat."Dietary restrictions: Staff double checked that we didn't need vegan accommodations. GF items clearly marked.Kid-friendliness: Super chill place, nobody seemed bothered about little kids making a little noise.”
“Came back home to visit, living in Oklahoma now and asked for the best sandwich/ hoagie shop was and they said this place and they weren't kidding, it's fantastic. I will definitely be back. Now when I come I'll have 2 places I will definitely eat at. Mr.Scribs and Fatty Lumpkins.”
“The whole atmosphere as well as the pastries and energy drinks are awesome. I go at least 2x thru out the week . Try it and thank me laterKid-friendliness: They have something for everyone”
“Best burger joint in West Michigan, and so much more! I'm lucky to live so close, that I can order take out and eat it at home while it's still hot off the grill.”
“Village Baker has a casual, european feel with fantastic food and great service. Also, the attached bakery is a pretty great place too. Excellent breads, pastries, cookies.... Highly recommend!”
“I love that place! They have the best burritos, and a large selection of Mexican food. I love the way its decorated as well.Wheelchair accessibility: The lower level is wheelchair accessible, but not the upper level.”
“Stopped in on a Friday afternoon. Very nice place with extensive menu. We had the that's my jam pizza with Sicilian crust. It was very good. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Muskegon.”
“Tried this recently the icecream is amazing and it's kind-of hard to beat the price with the amount of selections. Parking can get interesting but ho estly great place to stop for a quick frozen treat”
“Decent food, fun atmosphere, good prices. Very generous portions. Pancakes were huge! Waffles looked delicious. Service was great, and very friendly despite being busy.Parking: Not bad for the Muskegon area. There's street parking around the block and an actual parking lot area in the middle of the block.Kid-friendliness: Fun diner atmosphere and all decor seemed tasteful. No inappropriate humor or signage.”
“Often, when visiting a new coffee house/shop, you get only a part of what you hope for (eg. atmosphere, ambience, service, product quality, and price). At Aldea coffee, you get the whole bundle! If you like something a bit spiced up, try the honey cinnamon latte! Simply great!”
“The food is worth the wait time. The price is RIGHT!! The BEST cornbread! The BEST mac and cheese! The breading on the catfish was AMAZING!! Burnt ends melted like butter, and the sauce is phenomenal! Hands down the best! Will be returning again. I can't wait to try the cake my husband was raving about!”
“Their food is AMAZING!!!!! Enough said! Updating my post 3/2/2024... The food is STILL AMAZING!!!!Kid-friendliness: Family oriented atmosphere. I do wish there was a wider selection for kids menus. One minus was the man c cheese we ordered for my granddaughter. It was over cooked/dry. Otherwise, the food is AMAZING!”
“What an amazing place to meet old and new friends, grab one of their delicious coffees or treats, and enjoy the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Lots of love from Brent and Steve! ❤️?☕️”
“This is our favorite date night restaurant! It has a feel of a trattoria in Italy and the food is comparable in taste and quantity to food we had in Italy. The homemade noodles are amazing and the homemade gelato is delicious! We have not had anything on the menu we did not like!”
“Love Norm's! I would advise you order smaller than your typical ice cream shop size as their servings are very generous ?. But tip them well, they're a great bunch!”
“My wife and i went in today and had lunch. We have been there many times and can’t get enough. As a chef and foodie myself i am always impressed with their offerings. We actually drove 7 hours (from Des Moines Iowa) to eat here. I don’t see what these 1 and 2 star people are talking about. Definitely a must try, support local and Eat local.Vegetarian options: Mushroom tacos, curry vegetables tacos and seasonal vegan burrito is my wife’s favorite and they have falafel tacos ???”
“The food was quite tasty, especially the deep fried mushrooms. The service was good and the waitresses took good care of us. They were nice and friendly. There's plenty of parking. It's a "homely feeling" place. The price was ok as well. It was quite packed and busy when we went but that's to be expected at noon during the lunch hour, though it didn't last long.”
