We stopped at Bob Evans for breakfast today. It was not too busy, and we were seated promptly. Our server brought our drinks quickly. The food was delicious! I had a ham and cheese omlette with wheat toast. Yum!
Had a nice experience dining here. Banana loaf bread with house butter was a nice starter. Nice kids menu. Would recommend for a budget meal. They serve drinks in a traditional glass jar and kids get a plastic glass with straw. Even though she was busy, the server stopped by couple of times asking if the meal was good and we needed something.Kid-friendliness: Coloring menu with crayons. Plastic tumblers with straw. Food was good. Service was slow, but acceptable. But Bob Evans is following the pattern I see now in many restaurants:They put attractive prices on their entrees to get you in, then gouge you for drinks and other sides that you would likely want to accompany your meal, to make up for it.Example: $3.29 for a cup of coffee? Really? The home fries were cheaper than the coffee. I'll be drinking water in the future.
