Visited the Downtown Market on a Thursday before Christmas. Arrived 20 minutes before it opened at 11am, getting in and parking was easy, but by 11 it was full. Arrive early or look for a spot on the street, which was also full by 12. We stayed for 2.5 maybe 3 hours and the parking was $18. Lots of very interesting shops available. Phenomenal kurobuta pork chops. Now that I've tasted these, i can't get pork chops anywhere else.The bacon is delicious; slightly smoky, not over brined.Dry aged 48day steaks great as well; highly recommended
First time eating anything at Carver's and I really enjoyed my food! I ordered "The Wolf," a bbq pulled pork sandwich with bacon, ham, slaw and swiss cheese. The market was packed but food came out in a timely manner, hot and fresh. The bacon was thick and had the perfect melt in your mouth texture on the fat, the ham was sliced thin and piled high, and the pulled pork was juicy.
