“Maine street is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The service was great and the owners were very welcoming. The food was also amazing. I highly recommend trying their corned beef sandwich, as well as their deep fried cheesecake. Overall the experience and atmosphere was superb and I highly recommend.“
“Plav Post Ten is a hallmark in Hamtramck. Bar downstairs serving up drinks catering to veterans and accepting of civilians too. For Paczki Day it’s one of the major hotspots, the annual Paczki Eating Contest draw a good crowd and is followed by live music. Take a turn and come to Hamtramck to enjoy. 5/5.“
“Had to leave another review from my other account. You guys do not disappoint! I'm a regular through DoorDash (which we can all agree really sucks) and you guys always come through. I'm the guy who always asks for the sides of tahini sauce. I appreciate that you always deliver on that! I know stuff isn't free I work in the restaurant business and know how it goes. Everything I've ordered from here has been on point. No complaints.“
“If you're looking for Fantastic, Fresh food this is the place to come to. Everytime I work over on that side of town I look forward to having lunch there! The owner is so nice and friendly and seems like he cares about you and the food you're eating. Great food, Excellent choice if you eat here! ??“
“Stopped there after a show at the Sanctuary. Such a solid choice. I almost never leave reviews but this place earned one. Nice guys working the counter. Food came out hot, seasoned up good. One of the best Coney dogs I've had. They do it up.“
“Food is great and smoothies especially Lassi Mango) I would recommend-it’s healthier than others-it has less sugar). Why 4 stars? Tables are not cleaned each time I go to eat or pick up. Make sure u check that your order is correct and everything is there ; it happened to me twice ; once it was totally different sub and second time French fries were missing and they forgot to place it in bag. 5 stars for food and 4 stars overall cause of tables and chairs (I understand it’s mostly pick up but floor and seating section should be cleaned more often).Vegetarian options: I’ve seen veggie dishes and wraps and salads but I’m not sure sure if there is section only for vegetarians. SorryParking: Parking is right by restaurant and it’s easy to park. It could fit probably between 10/15 cars. Extra spots are by the side of the street.“
“Cannot go to bed tonight without writing this review first. Sat at the bar and service was impeccable. Bartender/waitstaff really knew the menu well. Ordered the trout, beet salad, and gnocchi all of which were flavorful and texturally perfect. For dessert, ordered the upside down carrot cake and pavlova. Ate every last bite even though we were already full. We will be coming back and bringing friends!“

“I can't remember my waiter but he was fantastic! I met Gordon (GM) who I told I had been there 3 times in the last handful of weeks and he showed us a lovely time. Eventually he introduced me to Jim Lutfy who let our party of 7 sample 4 desserts. Once again the pork chop and grits were amazing.“
“We came here for our anniversary and had a good experience. I loved the staycation cocktail, the calamari and the the sea scallops were the best I’ve ever had. Sadly the lamb appetizer was over cooked and the prime rib was chewy. Not great. It was also served with burnt hummus. Our waitress was good to me but seemed irritated with us that the steak wasn’t great. We won’t be rushing back any time soon. But we love Detroit and trying new restaurants.“
“Exceptional, one of my favorite places in the world.Already on the outside there is a 'wow effect'...but what about the inside? This place not only immerses us in a sumptuous era but also brings a special atmosphere. The service is exceptional. The prices are absolutely fair, and it's great.“
“Friendly staff. Good selection of tasty sliders, each sold separately so you can try a variety. Average 4 sliders per adult. Fries were fabulous. As you're eating you'll find that you will add a couple more sliders to your tab before you ask to cash out. Beer was cold. Back patio with a bar in case there's a wait. Weekends are very busy, but worth the slider experience.“
“My husband and I had dinner here tonight, and we were both absolutely blown away. Every course was incredible. The presentation was beautiful. Staff was attentive, helpful, and very friendly. This was an incredible elevated dining experience that will be remembered for a long time.“
“Oh.M.Gee....this place is amazing!! Really loved my dinner last night!! What did we have? BREAD & BUTTER 8 house sourdough, seasonal butter We started with the bread and butter. Their homemade sourdough bread was filled with all kinds of yummy grains and rivaled anything I had in Europe. It was served with cherry-jam butter, which was ok in my mind--I would have been perfectly happy with salted butter. TWICE COOKED EGG* 14 werp farms' greens, brussels sprout, salty cheese, warm shallot vinaigrette The egg atop this salad was really interesting...they took a poached egg and dipped it and fried it. The Brussels sprouts in this salad were super flavorful. I really enjoyed it. The rest of what we had was not on the website for me to grab descriptions and cost. We also had mushroom spring rolls, which were so flavorful! The tiny mushrooms in the spring rolls (not fried, my favorite kind!) were accompanied by many other fresh vegetables and had a delicious dipping sauce. We also had some broccolini and the pork chop. That pork chop was also super flavorful accompanied by collard greens, grits and cornbread. All of this food was so filling I had to take most of the pork chop dish home for today. The service was outstanding. My water glass never went below the halfway mark, and we never had need to pour wine from the bottle because Megan, our waitress, was ON IT!! While the interior of this place is loud, I didn't find myself shouting to be heard. The whole place is painted chartreuse, just like the name. We wrapped all of this up with 2 tastes of chartreuse...the green one was more herbaceous, leaning toward savory, and the yellow chartreuse was sweet. I liked the yellow best and my boyfriend preferred the green. I will highly recommend and plan to come back sometime. Yum-o!! Overall, I'd highly recommend“
“Hands down one of the most satisfying food experiences I’ve ever had in my 40 years of life. Definitely will come back.Vegetarian options: There were definitely some vegetarian items.Dietary restrictions: They asked about restrictions and allergies. Very through.Kid-friendliness: Do not recommend for children.Wheelchair accessibility: Small dining areas but they should be able to accommodate.“
“The atmosphere is awesome and the employees are friendly and helpful. It all translates from the management that runs the place. Not a big egg fan, but waffles and omelettes are always a go to.Nice place to catch #VIBEZ for real. Most definitely will slide through for the draft!“
“We had a great dinner experience. The many other reviews recommending the soft pretzel w/ beer cheese sauce are right on; it is one of the best pretzels ever. The burger with fries, and chicken wrap were good as well. The service was very friendly and speedy. We will definitely revisit!“
“duly's is a nice restaurant if you're a chilli dog fan !! they have the best chilli dogs in Southwest if you ask me. Older people work here so the service is around medium but they don't take very long and their manners make up for it. not enough sitting space though, so I wouldn't invite a whole family or whatnot, dulys is small on the inside as well. but overall it is a fantastic place to eatParking: I'll say there's 10 parking spots in the lot across from dulys, there should be a taco truck in it as well, that's where me and my family usually park at when eating at dulys, you would just have to cross the street of course. and if you're lucky usually around the morning time dulys street parking isn't that bad so you can park closer !!Kid-friendliness: they're really nice with kids, I've seen a lot of youth dine in at dulys, and the employees love kids !!.Wheelchair accessibility: for dulys it's already on a flat area no stairs no catch, so if you're in a wheelchair or whatnot don't worry you can roll right in here with no problem“
“Awesome experience celebrating an anniversary. Marrow made us feel special & welcome. The food was delectable & the staff were all so kind & genuinely seemed like they enjoyed working there which made the experience even better. We will definitely be back to try some beef tartar & bone marrow next time! Highly recommend the chef’s tasting menu!!!“
“My husband and I have dinner at Lumen at least every 4 to 5 weeks. Love the manager Rose and her staff Claire and Riley, to name a few. If we have a different wait staff taking care of us, these wonderful ladies will come over to our table to say hi.“
“Gotta love Mirella??. She's super helpful and lots of positive energy and good laughs....ask for her when u go in ....you won't be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Veggie head here ...some good options to choose from and our server helped us picked something yummyParking: Park n go around here....lots of parking surrounding the restaurant“
“Great visit on a recent trip. My wife and I visited three other local breweries and really enjoyed our stop here. The beer was very good! The fried calamari and grits was incredible! Our bartender was very friendly and inviting. Enjoyed our conversation during our stay. Will definitely come back again.“
“Last time I went, i was seated upstairs by the window and it was COLD!!!!. This time, I insisted on first floor. I recommend the same for everyone because first floor has so much better atmosphere than the upper floors. I am paying big hunk of what I pay for atmosphere. Brunch food was.... OK. I mean nothing screamed out UNTIL i got to the prime rib. It was one of the better prime ribs I ever had. 5 star plus for PR and 3 for the rest of the food, therefore 4 stars for food. With that said, I was satisfied and would return again. The food is only a part of overall dining experience. We have plenty of cookie cutter or ever worse chain restaurants. Therefore, I think it is important to patronize gem of restaurants like this.“
“Read an article about the burgers here, and they did not disappoint! Great flavor, cooked to perfection, one of the best burgers I've ever had. Add in a mountain of fries, and you are set.Service was outstanding. Wish I remembered our server's name, but she was fantastic. Attentive and very personable. Also had the mussels for appetizer and they were very good as well. Highly recommended!“
“I walked over from the Greektown parking garage and went here prior to the Red Wings game on 2/27/2024. The two young ladies working behind the bar and also out on the floor were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Tom, the shuttle bus driver, was terrific. I'll definitely be back!“
“The food speaks for itself, well prepared, and the coffee was excellent. The waitress that I had she was well mannered, she knew her stuff, and very informative.Parking: Handicapped accessible.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap accessible that includes walkers, wheelchairs, and canes. I can easily access out of my vehicle with my walker or cane without bumping or squeezeing into another vehicle.“
“Really cute bar with incredible service. I stopped here on a visit from out of town and I really liked the vibe. Steve was our bartender and he was one of my favorite parts of visiting- really welcoming and enjoyable conversation. I'm unsure if there is food since I stopped in late but the bar was full service and the people were great“
“We love your restaurant and food, but we don’t like ordering online when we’re sitting in the restaurant. It’s like going through a drive through. We prefer speaking to a real person, one who is able to answer questions about the menu.“
“Fabulous experience! As a City fan, we went to watch City v Arsenal here because our regular pub was closed on Easter. The service was spectacular, and the food was even better. Many thanks to the Arsenal supporters club for being gracious and friendly!“
“We had a great experience at Twin Peaks. Our servers were attentive without being overbearing. Great beer selection. I had wings that were excellent. Dry rub and sauce available. I wish I could remember the servers names, but they were fun natured.“
“Have tried it twice. 1st time just us to test it. Found the vibe great. Easy going. Lots of choices from beer, wine and seltzers. Bought some bread bites and was not impressed with the taste nor price. Talked to a couple that bought the Royal w/Cheese and they said it was great, agreed it looked great We played some shuffleboard, nice to have though the table needs a little work on its surface. The employs there were 2nd visit we brought a couple of friends after a night at Johnnys. They liked it as we did. Again many choices to drink. Casual table and easy guest to speak with, many of whom were playing various games. Asked to switch the channel on TV and no problem did it right away. Overall we will be back and want to try the burger“
“Ordered a carry out today for lunch. I got the Russian Reuben and fries and oh-my-goodness! I ate every crumb! The sandwich exceeded my expectations and was SO tasty, the 1000 Island for the sandwich and the ranch for the fries were both delish! I will DEFINITELY be ordering again soon!“
“Quaint and modern little spot. Can definitely see it livening up during the warmer months. I had a reservation for my husband’s birthday. Aperol for me and a wise and handsome for husband. Both good. We shared the steak tartare and braised beef apps. Both were delicious. Nice just and flavor with the tartare. The whipped feta with beets was smooth and delicious. I got the scallops and risotto. The risotto Nero was interesting. I don’t know if they added cheese but there was almost a smaller gelatin consistency. Scallops were nicely seared. Other main was the tagliatelle with lamb ragú. It had a nice hint of spice and the fresh pasta was evident. Dessert was a VERY rich chocolate ganache-like dessert with small malt balls on top. There was a hint of thyme which was a good contrasting flavor.“
“Great experience! All the staff was top notch! We had smoked old fashions for a cocktail, which were perfectly presented. Aranchini and Gruyère spread were great as well as the pasta entrees. Wish we had time for dessert and to enjoy the live music duo, who were awesome. We had tickets to Royal Oak Music Theater...which was within walking distance.“
“What a great little restaurant with a great view of the Detroit River you can sit outside and enjoy a great view when having a awesome dinner. We were going to the casino for a show so we decided to take a walk and found Eastwoods and I’m glad we did. This was a great way to start my 49th birthday night off great friendly people Lexi as our server she was so awesome fun and could joke around with us goof balls,we met the owner she is awesome as well very friendly she took the time to stop by each table that’s great to see. We all had different chicken dinners and were all great I will be going back soon.“
“This place is so cool! From the outside it looks like a garage in a parking lot, only to uncover a little oasis upon entering. Staff is super friendly, food is amazing and the atmosphere is priceless. All that for an affordable menu. Their oysters were super fresh and tasty and everyone in our party loved their dish. Will definitely return.“
“I believe Jeremy was the name of our server last nigh and was amazing . We stopped in before going to a Pistons game and weren't from the area. we were very impressed with the speed of service and taste of the food. I got the Bavrian pretzels they were bigger than what I expected and the Pub cheese was amazing“
“Great breakfast and wonderful service. We had the coconut French toast and eggs Benedict. Both dishes came to the table nice and hot and oh so good! Even the breakfast potatoes were good! Get there early as it fills up fast. Will definitely be back!“
“Great food, friendly staff and the perfect place to see a show! Very intimate setting and we love the history as well!Service would have been a 5 but we got the one server that seemed to go not want to be there and go MIA often. The bartender and hostess plus all other servers were 5 stars!“
“Aptly named, Standby is still the best restaurant + cocktail bar in Detroit. Whenever I'm downtown, I'm hard pressed to choose to go elsewhere because I just honestly would prefer to be here. The cocktails are consistently spectacular, and the rotating food menu is always enticing and delicious. I also consistently receive exceptional service. Top this off with an immaculate vibe, and you've got the makings of, well, a standby. I've come with family to celebrate birthdays, with friends to toast to a promotion, with my husband for an intimate date night, and solo when I just wanted to treat myself. Because of the seasonal menu rotations, there is always something new and interesting to sip or bite. A constant cocktail on the menu that I highly recommend is called the Snake in the Grass. But the best cocktail I had here was called the Black Beretta and was made with clementine sherbet and black sesame - outstanding! I also love that they have a rotating "break-even bottle" - where you can get a taste of typically pricey pours of whiskey, tequila, etc. for just as much money as it costs for them to break even on the bottle.“
“Tyler is a stellar bartender, extremely knowledgeable, and friendly. The food was an absolute delight. The soft shell crab tacos are a great way to start your dining experience, don't forget a flight of their in house crafted beer or guest tap ciders. Perfect dinner date atmosphere. This is a Detroit must try!“
“Sensational. Exceptional food, drinks, service and vibe. Had the Fried Oysters, Octopus Carpaccio, Burger and Scallops. Everything perfect and on point. The Nduja sauce for the seared Scallops was unreal. Highly recommend, and the proximity to Little Caesar's arena makes it a perfect landing spot before an event. Will return!“
“The food here is mind blowingly amazing and they’re open all night. Highly, highly, highly recommend eating here. It’s so hard to pick what to get—can’t go wrong with double layer nachos or chicken fried chicken with gravy. Or both.“
“First time here, my son and I stopped in had a great meal, food was excellent service was great! We really enjoyed ourselves our server Brendi (not sure of spelling Lol) was attentive and professional, will most certainly return and tell others!“
“Cute little relaxed environment; busy but people eat and leave. Staff was amazing and very knowledgeable of menu; avo toast was just ok, the bread was tough; the chicken was phenomenal! The baecation drink I really enjoyed(see menu for ingredients)“
“I ordered take out and our food was delicious. The background music was just right while I waited for our food. When I first arrived, I was a little hesitant but the staff that waited on me was very pleasant and again the food was delicious.“
“I got the ribs and they were so tender. They were fall off the bone good. Two other people got the fog legs and loved them. You get a lot for your money. The order was ready right on time even though they were busy. I will be going back soon.“
“This place is such a vibe! It is so cute and aesthetic on the inside. The food was spectacular, the live music was amazing. We went in on a Tuesday night and were able to be seated right away. The service was very quick. It wasn't over crowded; overall extremely enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend!“
“Corned beef is amazing. I'm getting extra cheese on my corned beef sandwich next time. They have a lot of different food types there that are just as amazing as their corned beef though.Oh and they have that honey BBQ sauce there too, it's called just sweet enough. When I was a child my grandmother would always buy it for me. We had Farmer Jacks then. Nice atmosphere s we'll. Kinda like family oriented. Stop in and check them out.“
“A great find. How can you top a probably close to a100 year old house, Converted to a bar. On a side street, off beaten path of jos.campau . 5 chairs at a small bar, 4 were occupied upon arrival - the only people in there. They soon left , so up to the bar to chat with a very friendly bartender. Informed that place is owned by the same people that own polish village and that they use location for parties, when the village is booked. If you like cheap drinks and a dive bar atmosphere- try it!“
