“A Recent visit after many months away from area. The restaurant was very busy on a wknd. We had a typical, eggs, sausage, toast, and hashbrown potatoes. With coffee. Service was pleasant and very efficient. This place brings an insulated pitcher of coffee. For abt 4 cup refills. There were abt 4 servers. All appeared very efficient. The restrooms were clean, at this late in the morning time. Lots of free prkng. Very modest pricing. Highly recommend Fernando's Café. Update March '24. Late morning wknd visit. Place was totally full at 1pm. Were able to get a table rite away. Order taken, food served very timely, food prepared as requested. Excellent service. Restrooms in good shape during a busy period. Again, we got a take-out cup for our remaining coffee. Very friendly & courteous service. We like this place. Much better pricing & service compared to Anna's House.”

“This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in Lansing. We stopped by there one afternoon and their chili was really spicy and delicious. We went there for the third time today and I'm pretty sure I loved it.”

“I have found this location to be one of the better McDonald's to frequent, but you have a quicker experience when you go through drive thru. I've noticed that there is usually plenty of staff on hand but most of the focus is keeping the drive through moving swiftly. My food is always warm and you can tell that they stay on top of their cooking grease and fryers, but my burgers never seem to have a decent amount of seasoning on them. I would definitely give an A. For cleanliness tables are always clean and clear, floors are kept up trash is not overflowing everywhere and the bathrooms are actually astonishing clean & deodorized!! Overall I would recommend this location and sometimes go a little out of my way to this one if I'm getting McDonald's.Vegetarian options: It's McDonald's!Dietary restrictions: Slim Pickens be creative.Parking: They offer space for travel trailers, and the parking lot is connected to a speedway. Also there are highway options within a mile of both.Kid-friendliness: The staff are warm and welcoming.Wheelchair accessibility: Both doors are wheelchair accessible.”

“I can join the band wagon and slam this place, but here is why I will not. First of all I did have to repeat my self 2 times about bread and kind of sub, sub was made wrong per listed on board of ingredient's that come on sub, watched her scrape the sides of guacamole dish just to get about 1 tablespoon of guac, the sign said avacado slices on sub not guac, was short changed by 30.00. Went back a couple hours after I noticed it and was told that I was wrong. I proceeded to tell her that manager can contact me after they close and see till is 30.00 over. She counted till at this time and found an extra 30.00 and apologized about this and that went a long way in todays nobody is wrong world. I stopped here, they did not invite me, I am thankful this place is there since I was hungry and they made me close to what I wanted. Bottom line is this, we all mess up and drop the ball at times, this place like most places are having a hard time finding workers, pass on kindness and a little patience for those who did show up. No more empty store fronts as long as we continue to frequent local. Have a great day.”

“This is my favorite Mediterranean place in the Lansing area! The staff are superrr friendly and the food is great. Several times when I've bought dessert, they've given me something free, which I always appreciate. My 1-year-old loved the falafel!Kid-friendliness: They put the fries seasoning on the side because they warned us a lot of kids don't like it. They offered some kid-friendly options but our son was actually okay eating the normal things on the menu - falafel, hummus, chicken, rice, etc.”

“Owner came over and spoke to us. Very friendly. Nice service. Good portion size. All four of us really enjoyed our meal and don't leave without trying the grilled cinnamon roll. Breads cookies donuts all are made on site. Had the Irish omelette with marble rye homemade bread toast. Breakfast burrito was very good. Get a cookie, loaf of bread, or homemade jelly/jam to go on your way out.”

“Love this sweet book store. Great selection of books for readers of all ages and genres. Staff will help you find what you’re looking for, and if they don’t have it, they will order it for you, or you can easily order online from their website and go pick it up when it arrives. Cafe has a variety of beverages ranging from coffees to flights of wine to cocktails to unwind. There are also snacks, baked goods and heavier fare if you are more than a little hungry. They have events during the week, they change it up quite a bit. Plenty of seating to catch up with a friend, do a little studying, or just buy a book and get lost in it. A lovely addition to the area, really glad it’s here.”

“I was helped by a blonde cashier, who was super friendly, and greeted me with an enthusiastic. Happy Monday! The service was wonderful. I ordered a mango smoothie, there was a miscommunication about having the cream on top, and they were so helpful in getting me a new one. It may have been my fault because my hearing is not the best. Regardless, they were very friendly and accommodating. My mother who used to have her own bakery, and is now retired, is quite a baked goods snob. In a good way. She loved the three different desserts I had her try. She usually doesn't like anyone's baked goods, but her own, but I could tell she absolutely loved the crêpe cake, the strawberry shortcake cup, and the dark chocolate cheesecake.The baked goods were so good, I went back later this evening, to get a mango slush, made with real fruit, and two other baked goods.”

“I pointed Babes out to my boyfriend recently and mentioned we should try them out soon as the menu looked so tasty. He surprised me today with an order to try out a few of their sandwiches: the Betty, the Margaret, and the Fran. My first comment is on the size. He ordered halves, with the thought that they would be smaller sandwiches that would be just a couple bites for us to try. We didn’t realize that it was half a sub! But we powered through, because after one bite, there is no way we weren’t going to try all of them. Literally, some of the best sandwiches either of us have ever had in our lives. So much flavor, the perfect bun, and everything was obviously put together with so much thought. The Margaret in particular was my favorite; a little bit of heat and a tad sweet. So glad to finally tried Babes out, and so thankful to have a new Lansing favorite! Highly, highly recommend.”

If you have a developed palette for good coffee, this is the best place to go in Lansing! Also best black brewed coffee! And, it’s not just the best because we’re in Lansing. “Sorry this post does not contains photos as I was to hungry, what I can say food was delicious.I visit the place around 5pm place have a few tables occupied which makes the atmosphere more quiet, plenty of room, place was surrounded with the food aroma, Waitress were very polite, I had spicy chicken shawarma, which was tender, a little bit condiment not on the bad side just to give you an idea what to expect. Rice was good,I think is one of those places to get lunch while at work.Will try again.”

“*******Update: I revisited the restaurant today. Although the chicken was overcooked during my previous visit, I found it to be good and juicy when it's made with care. The staff were exceptionally friendly and responded positively when I mentioned my prior experience, showing no offense to my feedback. They corrected my order and demonstrated excellent customer service skills. Additionally, by signing up for their rewards program, you receive a $5 gift for your birthday and $10 after accumulating 100 points. It's refreshing to see someone acknowledge a mistake gracefully, without turning it into an argument—a rare quality in today's customer service.The boneless chicken was overcooked that I received tonight, resulting in a hard and dry texture. In contrast, the Valley sauce bone-in wings enjoyed on a different occasion, were flavorful and moist. However, the bottled barbecue sauce did not match the taste of the sauce used on the chicken. Despite these mixed experiences, the overall impression of the place was decent. However, the boneless wings, priced at $16.95 for 10 pieces, were disappointingly inedible, making it unlikely that I'll return soon.”
