It was 23 years since being there last. Stopped in over the weekend and it’s the same ole good Irish pub. Love the atmosphere along with a cask whiskey, Guinness and Old Speckled Hen. It’s in a redeveloped area with many shops. The whole trip was a blast, I went to the Curragh twice in one day.
During the holidays I was feeling the blues. I was back home in Holland and none of my family and friends were available. I walked into The Curragh and met the manager Sophia. She took great care of me as well as her bartender Ashley. They were saviours on a sad holiday at home. They made my being at home a better experience. Exceptional service and great ambience. This is my favorite place in Holland and one of the few places in the state that have my favorite beer. The atmosphere is wonderful the food is perfect in the service is polite and professional. Even the coleslaw was awesome.
