“We stopped at Christopher's Cafe on the way home for brunch. My honey had the chicken fried steak and corned beef hash and I had the meat lovers waffle! Absolutely delicious! This is definitely on our list to visit again!”
“I thought this place was great! I've had a hard time finding good Mexican food since moving to Northern Michigan and this place definitely fills a void. My sister and I stopped in and shared 3 tacos. I'm super stoked is close to my house and can't wait to go back.”
“I love this brewery and everything that they have done for the Indian River community. Great place for events in summer time and a nice place to visit throughout the year!”
“What a wonderful Harvest Host stop on our way to the Great Lakes! Beer and Sangria were the best! Owners were very nice. A little road noise but not to bad. Safe and beautiful place to stay!”
“Great food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. My only wish would be the bring back some of the old menu items. They once made a teriyaki grilled tuna steak with pineapple and a side of wild rice. I miss that SO much....”
“We stopped by the Wigwam for the first time for dinner today. The server went out of his way to make sure my husband's food allergy was addressed with the chef. The chef did an amazing meal with meeting the allergy needs! Our server was awesome and the staff were welcoming and friendly. BTW - the seafood chowder was delicious. Will definitely visit the Wigwam again!!”
“Good food breakfast lunch and dinners, leave our WILSON'S RESTAURANT alone! Indian River tradition, it's one of the last good places that hasn't gone corporate.. ? family oriented, kids menu, not sure what else you could ask for. I've been going there for 50 years, if you have to wait, it's means the food is good. I'm also a retired restraunt worker, you have no idea how hard it is here during season, an try to stay open during the off season. But they have done it.?Vegetarian options: Pick off the menu what you can eat!Parking: A lot.”
“My boyfriend and I were visiting the area and stopped here before we went to our hotel. We were extremely surprised over how well the food turned out to be and we definitely LOVED the fries we got! We're definitely going to come back here again when we decide to come up here again!”
“Food is hot and ready in a timely matter sometimes mistakes on food orders as well with any other fast foods ? food has a nice taste to it.Kid-friendliness: Play ground inside and you can do birthday party there. Awesome”
“Unique and satisfying! The food tasted great and came well presented. A full basket of smelt, fries, and a few hush puppies made for a filling lunch. My father ordered a club sandwich, which looked great. A meal big enough to take some home. Our waitress was polite and kind. I was interested in the many specialty drinks available that she pointed out. Will be fun to go back and try them.I'm excited for another quality business in Indian River. Thank you for the experience.”
“The food was good. Service was okay. The table set ups are cluttered. I know a cluttered table is a weird complaint but the tables are small and the give you your own water pitcher and coffee pot. There’s no elbow room.”
“I literally NEVER review fast food on Google, but I'm not joking when I say that this is the best McDonald's that I have eaten in years, and the drive thru was actually fast! Kudos to the staff at this location, I literally called my mom who was driving behind me to recommend stopping on her way ”
“We will be back to try more! Our experience here reminded us of a place in Appleton WI we used to go to often! Our waitress was very pleasant and took very good care of us.”
“Food is good quality. Location and parking a little difficult. This is primarily a summer outdoor amusement venue and it can be very busy with Subway unrelated ”
“The Pinehurst. One of the last crumbling vestiges of a long-forgotten world remembered only in barely functioning neural pathways crushed by a hundred or two cheap stiff drinks. It has been here before your time, and it will remain long after you are gone. Whatever notions of "cleanliness", "food safety", or "service" any entitled khaki & hawaiian clad tourist may have are not only irrelevant, but asinine. The Pinehurst is what it is. Fading, unpolished, probably unclean, but utterly dependable. Depending on whatever tax bracket you reside in - you should probably stay away. If you have to question what that means, you should definitely stay away. If you can leave your vain expectations of whatever modern civilization is at the door, then at the Pinehurst you'll find a few of the most important universal truths: decent food, cheap drinks, entertaining conversation.”
“Awesome food! We were looking for something that could be delivered since we are on vacation and this is definitely the place to buy from! The pizza was hot and fresh and we also ordered some breadsticks with pepperoni inside, those were absolutely delicious!! Thank you for the excellent food :)”
“We were there for a very LateChristmas party. The food was delicious and we all had a good evening.I will definitely be going back.Looks like a very nice place to spend the evening in the Summer time.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp at the entrance”
“I love this store. I'm always surprised by the food. During the winter I was obsessed with the chili, chicken soup and cinnamon rolls. It's summer so now boiled peanuts ?”
“This place is awesome! We walked in at 2 minutes to close, and they were happy to take care of us. While they have the common flavors, they also had some flavors I hadn't seen before. What a pleasant surprise! The owners are very nice and you can tell they take pride in what they do, and what they serve. We liked it so much, we drove up from Gaylord the next day too, YUM!”
“We were spending two nights in Topinabee with a trip to Mackinac Island planned. Before we headed for the island, we needed some breakfast and stopped at Cafe Noka. It was delightful. It's small, maybe 7-8 tables and a short counter (in length) with seating, but the folks working there are great and the food will leave you full for hours. For instance, we were mulling our orders and noticed the pancakes. There were size offerings: full stack (3), short stack (2), no stack (1). We were told NOT to order the FULL stack because it was too much. Our server was right. I had the short stack and it was plenty! Everyone enjoyed the food and we decided to stop again on our way back down state. Again, it was well worth the time!”
“Great small town bar with the usual apps and good burgers. It's nice to find a place that doesn't try to glam up the menu it seems like everyone is trying to be too upscale. This place is a bar and they do it well. I will definitely be a regular when I'm in the area.”
“Still one of the best places around! The food, beer and staff are all top shelf. This is my 2nd 5 star review in under 2 years and wish there were more stars.2022 - Amazing beer, food and Kaylee”
“Cute cozy spot in the heart of Indian River. This is a must stop when in town…or passing through. They make house made syrups. I loved their pumpkin drinks because instead of the fake pumpkin flavor you get at some places they actually use pumpkin in it. They also had a little spot their hand made clay jewelry.”
