“Wanda was great. We had endless shrimp for 2 and had plenty. She brought each order with a smile and all the while I was calling her the wrong name. She finally laughed and told me what her correct name was. I like to use the servers name with each interaction, so there were many calls of wrong name. “Beautiful remodel of a century old building with nice quiet atmosphere and absolutely great food. The chef here definitely takes the time to get things right. From the fresh baked bread to the appetizers, the soups or salads, to the entrée everything was expertly cooked, beautifully plated and delicious. Not a large menu but what they offer they do very well. My wife ordered a Cesar Salad and the French Onion soup. I ordered the 8 ounce filet mignon with saute mushrooms and potato puree with Truffle oil. Even with the $53 price tag I'd order it again. There's a full bar here as well. The staff is friendly and helpful.“
“So we stopped in for a bit to eat and found ourselves having one of the best experiences here at the Texas Road House in Jackson, MI. not to often can a review be more about the server than the food but here I am writing this review. The food was outstanding but actually sat in the shadows of our server. Brevan is absolutely amazing. Spot on attitude, point of service, attentiveness, friendly, and the overall care that we recieved was the best experience, and perfect.
