The desert cake was a severe disappointment. Was my bday dinner, so order a slice of cake. Iirc it cost 10 to 12 dollars. The slice might have been an inch thick at its thick side, extremely dry and tasted old. The tbone was atleast cooked to my request but was tasteless, meaning no seasoning whatsoever. Obviously steak sauce was used. My wife's food was just as bad. However the open face sandwich looked good but dont recall if she said if it was good.
It was our first time in since moving to Jackson the food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, reminded me of a restaurant that I would have gone to in the '80s when I was a kid and I absolutely love that retro feel, service was outstanding, and the waitress was just a wonderful human being!

This was the 1st time we finally got a chance to come and try Steves. We were genuinely pleased with the atmosphere, our waitress was very pleasant with a relaxed professionalism work ethic. The food was marvelous and the pricing seemed to be about the going rate. Cant wait to try there Sunday brunch buffet. See you soon!
