“Been the best neighborhood bar in my world for maybe 20 years, and I don't even live in Kalamazoo anymore. Bar itself is a work of art; dark wood, huge and real. This is not some tricked up franchise, designed to make you feel like you're really into something authentic. Only place in Michigan I've found that can properly pour a pint of Guinness. Food is excellent, and the menu not your standard bar fare. Jamie, the proprietor is on the premises, friendly and keeps things running smoothly. Just go!“

“My husband and I had our wedding reception there 13 years ago and it was wonderful. We took over the restaurant and outdoor patio (with heaters) in November. Our dear friends had theirs there recently and it was still wonderful. For a small business in todays age…that speaks volumes. They were great then and are great now.“

“Good food. Expensive. Also don't go by the listed hours. They shut down early to clean. So they can leave at the listed time. Not serve the customers until the listed closing time. Don't try to order anything 1 hour before they close. It will burden the staff.“
“Our first time here and one of this week's honeymoon dinners. The ambience is very romantic, our server Carol was attentive and accommodating, and oh! the food!! I had the duck breast and my spouse had the manicotti special which he loved. The crowning glory was the limoncello tiramisu, which was light, tarty and fluffy; perfect for after a hefty meal.
