“My favorite Chinese food in the entire state, we drive over an hour to come eat here, and its worth it! The scallion pancakes I have dreams about they are so good. Potstickers are also great when we have room. Their soups are always hot and fresh. We always get the Generals Chicken because its the best we have ever tasted! Lo Mein is also yummy!“
“Had to try the "squirrel shaped fish" just because of the name... it's two lightly battered and fried logs of fish. The green beans and crab rangoon are the best. The Szechuan noodles have an interesting flavor; couldn't put our finger on what it is, maybe lime, has kind of a sour flavor. Would eat here again.“
“This place is amazing!!! Sets a new standard for all other Chinese restaurants! Food was incredible! Atmosphere is welcoming, and service was great! It’s more traditional than most places and the food is served family style. The quality is outstanding. Will definitely be back!!“
“I recommend that you not joke on the phone while placing your order. In my opinion, this is the BEST Chinese restaurant in the Greater Lansing area. While placing my order, I joked about it taking 20 minutes. Then I drove 15 minutes and sat in the restaurant for another 30 minutes. I watched people come and go. I heard the girl tell at least 5 people, on the phone, "15 to 20 minutes"! She told a walk-in customer 20 minutes. Well, I finally got my order and headed straight for the Mexican restaurant that I am making a fully functional ecommerce website for, for free. I get to be his delivery service. I spent $23 at Ming's and $15 at the Mexican Restaurant. Tonight's meal cost me $38. No, I ain't eating Ming's food, ever again. If joking on the phone causes this, I don't trust them to not put a great big snot ball in my food. Great Food, just don't piss them off, or you will be George on Seinfeld dealing with the Soup Nazi! I will be marketing the websites I make for Free in a Newspaper I will be handing out all around the Greater Lansing Area. Hopefully, my current bad attitude will calm down before the first edition because I am now thinking about a section for, "This Restaurant is outstanding, But, ...".“
“I visited this restaurant today. Excellent service. Ordered the Orange Chicken. Special ordered vegetables and chicken fried rice instead of plain. Sour soup with crispy noodle and an Egg Roll. The food was fresh, hot and very delicious. I recommend Apple Jade Restaurant to everyone. Enjoy the peaceful eat restaurant. It was my first time and definitely will be returning. Thanks.“
“Tons of different types of foods including crayfish, oysters , crab etc for such an affordable price plus hibachi. Good food, good service. All around would definitely eat there alot more if I lived closer!Kid-friendliness: My kids loved it and they have a variety of foods which is great for picky eaters!“
“I love getting food from here! I only order takeout. They are very fast and efficient! Always consistent with food quality. Pricing is good. Have never eaten inside. Never a complaint with any of the food except maybe the pork. That seemed a little tough once. Didn’t order again. Really love the rice that has everything! OMG!! That is so good! Definitely a meal in itself! ?“
“Every time I eat here, someone's order gets messed up. I think it's the same server each time. She's nice, but we never eat together. Even when it's slow.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options are good. They have a few to choose from.“
“The wait was over an hour, even though we had ordered on line. They still were taking walk in orders, when clearly it was overwhelming. But it was Christmas Day and the food was good. Favorite was Gen Tso chicken, steamed dumplings, bbq strips, and house special lo mean. Fidnt care for Hunan chicken, beef n broccoli, or egg rolls. I'd like to try again when it's not a holiday. “
“Gone 2 nights in a row because not only is the food good but it’s the same quality if not better than the average take out joint not to mention way cheaper. The owner is very nice aswellVegetarian options: There are veggie optionsKid-friendliness: The staff/owner very is nice“
“I was recommended to come here for dim sum. I was really weary because of the name but I was in the mood for dim sum so here I come. Had several dim sum items here: *Shrimp dumpling: Chunks of shrimp, it was tasty *Pork ribs w/black bean sauce: These are the largest ribs I've had in this dish. That was nice because it was meatier vs mostly bone *Shrimp rice roll: Wished the rice roll was a bit thinner *Pan fried radish cake: Needed to be fried a bit more *Fried taro dumplings: This is good but would have liked it to be crispier. *Steamed bbq pork bun: Not much filling. *Egg tarts: The bottom of the tart shell wasn't completely cooked. Needed more bake time *Bake taro buns: Needed to be baked a bit longer so when you break into the bun the top kind of flakes/crumble off. *Salted fish fried rice: It was just rice, salted fish and egg. No green onions or veggies (no peas or carrots). Needed a bit more salted fish. 4 stars with all these comments..... The taste wasn't bad. All the food just needed a bit more flavor and cooked a bit longer on some items to make them crispier. Maybe they don't use much msg so the lack of flavor? Otherwise I enjoyed it. Service was friendly and good. Every time I opened my tea pot lid, the waitress came over and filled it. I will definitely try again!“
“Fast even on a Sunday, food was hot and delicious. Service was good, and we had a great experience. The price has definitely gone up over the years and was 14.50 but I think this is still fair for what you get as you can easily spend that on a fast food meal these days.“
“Not all Chinese restaurants are created equal, I don't know how that got to be a thing... Similar, but not all the same. God bless pizza and Chinese food... The best in the old neighborhood and I still stop by once ina while...Vegetarian options: Yes... If you're vegetarian I shouldn't have to do anything for youDietary restrictions: One of my favorite food groups...Parking: Has nothing to do with the food, but the parking lot is on par with Beirut and the Gaza strip...Kid-friendliness: It's a family restaurant... And they are absolutely the most friendly people thereWheelchair accessibility: God bless you if you're brave enough to try to make it through the gauntlet of a parking lot“
“Great Chinese takeout. Last order I placed took 25 seconds on the phone for two people. Fast, efficient, friendly, and most importantly, damn good food. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: Some veg options, not a whole lot, but a decent selection.“
