The 5 for “atmosphere” is based on the fact that this is what it is… an “old school bar”. Not fancy, just iconic. Great burgers, fries, rings, and several “not your usual” apps. Friendly place with unbeatable prices. A Lansing landmark.
Someone should turn Dagwood into Firewood, and for no other reason than the fact that this joint is FIRE. I'm just suggesting a name change because my experience was lit. I have lived in the area for several years, and drive past Dagwoods almost daily but had never tried it until yesterday. Wonderful food at a great price with great staff. I am personally not much of a sports fan so I didn't get anything out of having the games on, but I know that the main crowd is people watching various athletic events.
