“I pointed Babes out to my boyfriend recently and mentioned we should try them out soon as the menu looked so tasty. He surprised me today with an order to try out a few of their sandwiches: the Betty, the Margaret, and the Fran. My first comment is on the size. He ordered halves, with the thought that they would be smaller sandwiches that would be just a couple bites for us to try. We didn’t realize that it was half a sub! But we powered through, because after one bite, there is no way we weren’t going to try all of them. Literally, some of the best sandwiches either of us have ever had in our lives. So much flavor, the perfect bun, and everything was obviously put together with so much thought. The Margaret in particular was my favorite; a little bit of heat and a tad sweet. So glad to finally tried Babes out, and so thankful to have a new Lansing favorite! Highly, highly recommend.“

“Sandwiches are always delicious and hit a spot that I never knew needed to be hit. The service could be better but it's set up like a fast food joint so the people there are there to feed you and move to the next person, no complaints there. The overall dining area could be cleaned up better, but let's be honest they're cleaning their dining area just as much as other fast food joints. Overall there's nothing special about this location, but the food is worth getting a 16" sandwich for leftovers, and then eating the whole thing anyway because you have no self control“
“As im sitting in the subway parking lot, im feeling really bad for an employee. The supervisor seems frustrated with his day, as all can be, however decided to reprimand his colleague in an absolute disgusting tone. I could see the embarrassment flush in her face and felt terrible. Employees make mistakes, but as a supervisor you should never reprimand an employee like that in front of customers. I wouldn’t be surprised if the poor lady quits. I know I would. The gentleman who made my order was also kind, and I asked him to pass along my words of encouragement to her to hopefully make her feel less embarrassed . If you were working and leaving around 5:45 and see this ma’am, truly don’t let him get to you. If he wants to let people control his emotions in that way then he is not in the position to be a supervisor. I truly hope you have a wonderful night!“
“Best subs out there! It's a lot like Jersey Mike's but better. Really wanted to try their French Dip, but they weren't doing hot subs the day I went ?. The staff didn't seem very happy, but dang the sub was good. It's definitely worth the hour drive. They pack their subs to the max, and the half sub was enough for the two of us. If you're really hungry, get a whole sub for two people.“
“Great location. The service is always friendly here and the subs are good. Fresh bread, freshly sliced meat, good toppings. Definitely pricier than the subway down the road but subway sucks (especially the Holt one). Jersey Giant will fill you up AND there will still be enough sandwich for lunch the next day.Parking lot isn't great since it is a shared strip mall type.“
“I’ve never seen them out of gluten-free buns and I’ve seen them change gloves for me (even if they can’t promise a pure gluten-free experience). My go to is the Italian and it fills me for the entire day. Never had a disappointing sandwich from here. Workers are giving it their all and very welcoming when I was in. Some days recently they have been app only orders, but it’s still a nice way to get rewards.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free Udi bun. Cross contamination happens, but the Italian it gluten free, as well as hook n ladder, and cheesesteak. I haven’t tried any others, but I know the meatball is not“
“I love this chain and am overall pretty happy with this location. Overall my biggest complaint is that it just looks worn down. The owners need to invest some money into a deep cleaning, paint job, and updating some equipment and this place would be great. Nice, friendly employees, which is of course a big benefit.“
“First entering the store you're hit with a New York style deli fragrance that is so refreshing with a hint of a bakery that catered fresh loafs of bread. Customer service was amazing the gentleman was very understanding and didn't rush you the sandwich was amazingly fresh and delicious I've found my new sandwich spot would recommend again“
