This place has fed four generations of my family and countless other Italian families living on the West side of the city. I could go on and on about the quality of food, level of service, and affordability but it is really the people that work here that make it special. Don't be afraid to ask them questions, or even for recipes, they know their stuff and are happy to help you.
I have been going to cantoro's on middlebelt for years. I drive aprx 15miles round trip, once a week on average. Best product and people. They make you feel like family, in a good way ?

Very good quality and interesting products. Expensive! Their house made fresh sauces were really good. Eclairs in bakery, excellent. Very good range of cold cuts, including hard to find imports. Did not like their fresh pizza dough, had a weird taste. Huge selection of dried pasta brands and shapes. Check dates, some canned goods close to expiration. Overall, an interesting and enjoyable shopping experience and enjoyed most of what we got. Would definitely shop there again.
