“If you're searching for a great new breakfast spot, Public House in Monroe, Michigan might be the perfect place for you! My fiancee and I stopped by for breakfast while we were in town, and we had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is spacious, modern, and well-maintained. The staff were quick and friendly, and the food was some of the best breakfast I've had in a while.I ordered the Steak and Eggs, which I assumed would be a standard steak cooked on the stovetop with a side of eggs. However, to my surprise, it was a Half Pound Ribeye cooked to perfection and topped with garlic butter. This steak was better cooked than some steaks I've had at a steakhouse! The eggs and bacon on the side were cooked perfectly, and we also ordered the Grilled Cheese with fries on the side which was equally delicious.We're already looking forward to our next visit to Public House!“
“My sister and I went on their "last day" of the season, we both had a flyer that said we wad guaranteed to win something, be it food or T-shirt. They had a deck of cards, and they spread it out into a fan shape and told us to pick one. We both got 1 pint of chilli absolutely free. I hope this is something they do every year. Their food is amazing. Root beer comes in tall glasses with handle on them that's stored in a freezer. You get cold pop without worrying that ice is going to water it down. You pull into a bay and sit in your car to eat. They have trays that attach to driver side window. Definitely worth going. Can't wait for them to open back up come spring.“
“Our waitress Jennifer was so cute, funny and a joy to have waiting on us. My husband had the blue long island and one was green and tasted like straight pineapple juice. I had a steak but it looked like a chunk of roast. Had to send back because it was too red. Took so long our waitress put in a too go container. If it wasn't for our waitress it would have been a negative experience.“
“Nice and very clean little place that you can actually hear your conversation. I had the prime rib special of the day and he had the boasted chicken dinner. Both were excellent! Definitely did not leave hungry and had left overs to take home. Wait staff was very friendly. If you like home style, you must give them a try.“
“Third time dining here March 22, 2024. . I can say I recommend the Reuben and burgers, Boneless wings that I haa ad today I did not care for. Chili is ok, not the flavor combo I prefer, but ok. “Pete's garage has been a fixture in Monroe for some time. The food is good. The restaurant can get very busy on the weekend depending on what's going on in town. The staff is friendly and will take care of you, but plan on oh wait on the weekend because it's very popular. The atmosphere is different but good for families. The menu has many options, however, I feel it could use some newer dishes. Everyone will find something to eat on their menu. Overall, I highly recommend giving it a shot.“
“First time going to Brass Monkey. Service was a little slow, but our waitress (Amber) was working alone and had many tables to attend to, she was still very pleasant. My boyfriend and I got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Well cooked, loved the coleslaw and the fries weren't like anything I've ever had before. Definitely will be coming back.“

“Beer is ice cold, good atmosphere, random folks, good food and the grill is open late. Get hammered and still have time to order food to smash before bed. None of that having to settle for Taco Bell and explosive diarrhea in the morning. Major cool points there!“
“Haven't been to this coney in years! Visiting with my parents yesterday and they opted for a different breakfast place. We decided here. Breakfast was amazing. Best hashbrowns around. Think they may shred them? Not even a breakfast person and already thinking about breakfast next time I go to Michigan. The prices were great. Specials all around $5.99. Had scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. Coffee was extra but worth it. And trust me, I am picky about my coffee. All of the staff very friendly. The restaurant was a little outdated but don't let it fool you...you could eat off the floor. Very clean. “I've been here before and was in the area, so I got a Sammie and some tenders. I order hot, I did get burning once, it's a bit too hot for me. The sandwich chicken is thicker than the tenders, but hot does fine on both. The coleslaw is good and surprisingly the waffle fries were very good. (I like shoestring fries). I wish it was closer to my house. Drive thru or go in, there's a picnic table inside, so the car or going home is a better option.“
“This cute little diner was absolutely incredible. One of my new favorite spots. Their menu has tons of options and a bunch of different cuisine. My friends and I split the Greek nachos and they were incredible. I had the french toast club and it was so so yummy. Their dessert was fresh and had such huge portions. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. My friends and I enjoyed it so much.“
“We were in a jam and thank goodness Vince's was open for drive-in service. We gave the order and I mentioned they're know for their BBQ Beef though we only ordered chili dogs this time. To our surprise, maybe by accident, they put a BBQ Beef in our to-go bag, thanks Vince's!“
“My wife and I had a delicious meal here today. We were greeted with a smile and, "Welcome to Culver's". Our food was well prepared and it was quickly delivered to our table hot and fresh. I love how clean the restaurant is, inside and out. I'm already looking forward to coming back soon!“

Very sweet, quick, attentive. She had great recommendations and was so friendly. I wish I lived closer so I could come back here more often but I will definitely be back soon ! I got chorizo nachos, 2 draft beers, to go order of truffle fries for my wife, and the breakfast sliders with truffle fries for myself. $55 bucks before tip. Big serving sizes and super fair prices. I really can't express how beautiful the view of Lake Monroe is either. “I'm in the search of the best Reuben. So far Joy's has an edge other places I've eaten at since visiting Monroe. The meat thickness was good, the sauerkraut has good placement being in the middle and I love it when the sauce is on the side so you can add as little or as much as you want. All in all I would say they have the best so far.“
“Was recommended by who checked us in at our hotel to go here for dinner. We took his advise and will add R Diner to our list to visit again. We tried a little of everything! Everything was so good, not one single complaint. Our waitress was absolutely the best.“
