From the moment I walk in, this places feels like a family spot. The main menu items don’t miss, but those specials (like the gumbo on Fri and Sat or the drink mixes) are even better! I happened to go on a day when a regular was dining in, and his testimony gave me 6 more things I’ll have to try soon. Lol. Thank you for your hospitality.- Brie
I finally was in the area to visit Pik Nik Basket to see what the hubbub has been :). I didn't get the standard sandwich but, a veggie quesadilla. I wasn't hungry enough for the sandwich and the quesadilla was a perfect size. It tasted great! Plenty of spinach, some cheese prominent. What was a great surprise was I took away dessert, the red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting. Sinfully good!! I will return for a sandwich but, will be tough to decide which one!! I love this restaurant. It's family owned. They are very friendly. The food is amazing and always freshly made with love. I've been coming here since they first opened, and I will say only amazing thing From Smoothies to Gumbo , fresh baked Treats to Kool-aid... the list goes on. I love the chicken Cobb salad and the chicken and dumplings. I would suggest calling in your order if you do know what you want. The parking lot isn't that big, so around lunch, it may be packed.
