“We dined at Craftsman this evening. Great happy hour and starter specials. The crab soup was tasty. All our entrees were delicious. Desserts were perfect ending to great meal. Highly recommend. Friendly, efficient waitstaff.”

“We rode our motorcycles up to the area and decided to stop here for lunch. We were seated right away and the staff was very pleasant. Our server was very quiet but did great. We ordered burgers and fries. Everything was great except the cook of the meat. Now, I like my beef a bit pink, but the cook on my burger was almost blue in the center. The cook on hubbys burger was better. He ordered his burger medium well, and it came out at medium rare. The fries were hot, crispy and heavenly. I ate mostly around the edges of the burger but it was still awesome tasting even though it was so rare. The reason for not giving 5 stars was because, when I unrolled my silverware it was used and dirty. It had bits of lettuce on the fork and clearly everything had been used. I asked the server for a new set and I was good to know.”

“Food was excellent and the chef was great. Only downside was the party next to us was really drunk and rowdy. So not really a fault of the restaurant except the sake squirts were continuous and a bit much considering how intoxicated two of the men were.”

“The atmosphere is great, excellent service with knowledgeable, friendly staff. Most important for me, there are gluten free options prepared in a dedicated space. As a person with a severe gluten allergy, dining out can be a challenge. Cove Lakeside Bistro made the experience delicious and a delight.”

“Waitress friendly and attentive. Turned the heat on in the room we were in. Explained why it took awhile to get our checks. Nice selection on menu. Prices reasonable. Would have liked to have a roll with my salad and a placemat under my salad bowl so I didn't have to put silverware on table.18 per cent gratuity seemed high since it was calculated including tax.”

“Albeit an expensive experience, I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this location. They are phenomenal, respectful, helpful, and kind. I wish I would've taken note of names, but this corporation doesn't pay their employees enough for the service they provide and at the prices the corporation sets. All props to the staff for providing a fun and safe experience for the kids!”

“I purchased some of Ron’s Beans from Latitude 42 and really enjoyed them. They extract really well in my espresso machine and gave a great crema - sign of a fresh, quality bean. Had the pleasure of meeting Ron at an event and look forward to tasting his Thanksgiving blend now.”

“Very impressed with the food for our daughter's graduation party. Our guests gave several compliments. I love how the food was pre-heated for us and sealed in five pound bags, making it super convenient to keep the sterno trays replenished throughout the evening. Barrett's staff recommended we keep the extra food in coolers to keep it warm and it worked perfectly! Will definitely use Barrett's again!”

“This place is quaint. Absolutely perfect breakfast place. Our waiter was top notch on fixing my Oops on my order. I messed up on the order nobody else and he was quick to fix it. Lovely breakfast place to eat at.”

“I didn't know until recently that you can eat at the cafe without paying the entrance fee for the museum. Ordered bacon burger with fries and it was amazing! It is definitely in the running for the best burger in town. It isn't cheap but nothing really is any more. Atmosphere can't be beat. Sat at a table near the wall on the balcony and enjoyed the museum offerings while we ate. will def go back.”

“My first time ever experiencing Japanese food and sushi. I was really looking forward to this experience and had heard many wonderful things about Kumo. I had no frame of reference however for the food. While it restaurant was beautiful and exceptionally clean, our waiter was extremely put out by our questions. He behaved as if we had no business being there if we did not know about the food already. Unfortunately this really ruined what could have be a much more fun and rewarding experience for everyone. The place was essentially empty with only 2-3 other tables, so I don't feel that taking a few extra minutes to help a new inexperienced diner would have been a large inconvenience. I tried 3 different kinds of sushi, and decided I'm not a sushi person. For my main dish I had chicken tempura. Which was much like chicken strips in a very lite breading. I enjoyed it quite a bit. A sauce other than tempura would have been nice. As well as a choice of dressing for the bowl of ice berg lettuce that was my salad. Overall I doubt I will be returning. As I did not find much to eat here.”

“Still a great standby for Midwest seafood. Sat at the bar, had a good, friendly, bartender and had a chat with fellow patron. Watched a petite woman order a whole lobster out of the tank! I wish they would update this tired restaurant but doesn't keep me from going back. Love the biscuits ? as usual, and the Pick 2 (or 3) options.Parking: With their generous size overhang, you can pull-up out of the weather to drop off your date, or assist handicap passengers.Wheelchair accessibility: Good handicap access.”
